Friday, the third day of Signal Academy. Work was still the same for the students but with one added benefit for today, close hands on training with your homeroom teacher. At Signal there were about twenty different homerooms and around forty different training arenas on or around campus that people used for their training. As everyone was coming in for the day, Amber was sitting in her usual spot, playing around on her scroll. She was brought back into reality by someone dropping their bag beside her. She looked up and smiled as she saw Opal standing beside her.

Opal: Hey. You doing alright since yesterday? You took a pretty bad hit to the face.

Amber: Yeah. I'm alright. Just a small bruise on my back.

Opal: Well, at least you're still alive. That seriously annoys me how those who could got to use their semblances.

Sapphire: Well, (She walks past Amber and sits down besides her) It's like Mr. Okami said. The world isn't really fair. I didn't care for it much of myself but he wasn't wrong either.

Amber: You didn't care for it? Sapphire, you have one of the coolest semblances out there!

Raleigh: Well (Sits down next to Sapphire and behind Opal) you have to remember she was...shocked to the bone.

Amber face palms as Sapphire slams her head on her desk.

Sapphire: Raleigh, I will seriously kill you one day.

Raleigh: You'll love me one of these days, babe.

The bell rung and everyone who was standing took a seat. After a few seconds of Fred not entering the classroom, the students all glanced around until Aka stood up and began to walk to the door.

Lagoon: Where are you going?

Aka: Well, clearly, no one cares where we are, so let Captain Cool lead you all into the world-

A wall of fire surrounded the students and erupted upwards. All the fire went towards the front of the classroom and standing there was Fred.

Fred: Every Friday you will be having combat practice with your homeroom teacher. And believe me...this will be far more frustrating and difficult when compared to Mrs. Crann. So...let's get started.

After getting weapons ready and moving towards Gym Bravo, Fred set up the field and got the arena set. A series of columns and pillars arose from the ground and a small pool formed underneath a rope connecting two of the pillars.

Fred: Alright. You get set up in teams of four. No more. Pick a spot and start fighting. In case you were wondering, yes, we have cameras that I'm already linked to. You're goal, survive. Last team standing wins. Those who win get eight bonus points on the lowest test and or quiz within the quarter. The same will go for next quarter. Those who lose, will be dropped from the A level classes.

Everyone: What?!

Fred: Work with someone you know you can trust. Get started.

With that, some people already began to assemble into teams. Amber looked around until her hand landed on someone at random. She looked up and saw that her hand had landed on Silver's arm. Silver gave her a smile and she slowly began to blush.

Silver: Team?

Amber: Y-yeah.

Opal: Good!

Opal popped out from behind Silver with a smile. They looked to their left and saw Bruno walked up to them.

Bruno: Would you all mind if I joined. The rest of the gang had already branched out.

Silver: Get in here pal.
