Execution

Elsa Inverno and her entourage walked through Kirkland Prison, seeing dozens of guards all on stand by and plenty of others with guns in hand near cells. Phoenix gulps a bit as she keeps walking, following Elsa through the prison. Sterling makes sure everyone is close together as he keeps glancing back to his team the more they get into the prison. The more the group walks through the prison, the less and less prisoners are seen. Finally, they arrive at a large pit in the center of the prison.

While Team SPHE looks at it with shock and awe, Elsa and the three troopers from before walk across a catwalk to an elevator in the center of the pit. Elsa glances back and Sterling looks up to meet her gaze. She gestures for the team to follow and Sterling nodded, agreeing with the order. He follows Elsa and his teammates follow as well. The eight enter the elevator and descend down the prison and finally stopped at the bottom of the prison.

Sterling looks up at Elsa as the elevator stops.

Sterling: Where? How?

Elsa: Atlas has numerous secrets throughout the kingdom. It helps when your capitol sits upon a massive deposit of gravity dust. Makes it easier to drill into.

Sterling: Huh...right.

The elevator opens the party leaves the area. The three troops stop beside the elevator, standing guard, ready to shoot. Elsa walked down another catwalk to a massive cell in the center of the pit. She raised a fist and numerous red light lines disappeared. Hunter looks up and saw at least 10 snipers all in position, keeping watch on this prisoner. Turrets also went offline as they slowly went into the walls.

Hunter: What the hell?

Eminence: Who is this guy?

Sterling: Dr. Lavenza Volt. Four counts of Treason, 120 counts of murder, 150 counts of attempted murder, theft, and mutilating and tampering with creation itself.

Hunter: And you know this because...?

Sterling: He almost killed my family...about 70 times. And he is partially responsible for the first fall.

Phoenix: He's...oh. Good thing he's here then.

Sterling: But what do we do now?

The team looked at one another before Sterling took a deep breath and walked down the catwalk to join Elsa. The four join Elsa as they looking into the cell to see Volt, sitting on the ground, breathing slowly. He looks over to the five and waves his hand as to say hello to the visitors.

Elsa: Doctor.

Lavenza: General? To what do I owe the pleasure?

Before Elsa could speak, Lavenza coughed, so much that he grabbed a bucket that was in his room and threw up into it. He then coughed up some blood which also went into the bucket. He then grabbed his breathing mask and took a massive breath into it, calming himself down for the time being. He then looked back out to the party and glared a little at Sterling.

Lavenza: Ah, young Mr. Schnee. To what do I owe the pleasure of today?

Sterling didn't say anything as Elsa stepped between him and the cell. Lavenza nodded slightly and leaned back against his bed again and took another breath from the breathing apparatus.

Lavenza: So what is it?

Elsa: There is currently an invasion going on outside.

Lavenza: Yes, I can hear.

Elsa: Don't play games. You may be the smartest person in Atlas, but I am no idiot. So, how did you shut down communications for the kingdom?

Lavenza looked at her and cocked an eyebrow. He sighed, rolling his eye as he leaned against his bed some more.
