Amber stood, completely still as she saw the horror before her very eyes. Her father, Frederic Scorch, on the ground screaming in agony as his enemies beat him to the ground. A few tears began to fall into her eyes. Fuse and Vella slowly began to move away but stopped once they saw Amber stay perfectly still. Vella walked up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder.
Vella: Amber, we need to go.
Vella began to walk off with Fuse but both stopped as Amber didn't move. She rose her scythe and got ready to fight.
Amber: Get out of here. I need to save him!
Vella: Amber?!
Amber ran towards Damson, Fred and Warp Gate. However, before she could reach them, Amethyst tackled Damson and got him onto a hold on the ground. A disk then bounced off of the ground and his Gate in the face and Silver leapt forward and kicked him.
Amber: Silver?!...Amethyst.
Amethyst: (To Damson) Thought you could beat us?! BEAT ME?!
Fred: (Weakly) No. Get...out of here.
Amber: Not going to happen. We got you.
Amber began to prop her father up and Silver quickly began to help her. He glanced back and saw Warp Gate getting back up. Silver threw his disk back and his Gate in the back of the head and Opal appeared before him and slammed his face with her mace.
Amber: How did you guys get here?
Opal: We jumped and ran over. Duh. Now come on, we got to get him out of here.
Damson began to laugh as Amethyst began to struggle to keep him down.
Damson: (Chuckles) You're fun. But you aren't the first kid I fought!
Damson rose his torso up and slammed it down and got Amethyst off of him. Damson got to his feet and attempted to punch Amethyst but was blocked by Amber's scythe. He turned back and grew a large insane smile.
Amber: You aren't hurting anyone else.
Damson kicked Amber in the stomach and sent her flying.
Fred: AMBER!
Damson dashed up and punched Fred in the face and sent him flying before he wrapped his tail around him and slammed him back into the ground, forming another crater. Silver and Opal attempted to fight him but were also knocked away by Damson. He turned back and saw that Warp Gate was getting back up.
Warp Gate: Sorry.
Damson: Dont be. You did your roll. Do a scan. Everyone who is still conscience get them out of here.
Warp Gate: What about you?
Damson: This girl...intrigues me. (Laughs) I want to have some fun first. Just remember, (Kneels down and grabs Fred's hair) Don't kill the big guy yet.
Damson slammed Fred's face back down into the ground. Amber slowly began to get up until Damson slammed his boot onto her chest. He leaned down towards her and gave her a smirk.
Damson: There's something different about you. You have something that seems...intriguing to me.
Amber whimpers a bit as Damson closes in on her. He takes a few sniffs and reels back wide eye.
Damson: You're a-
Silver's disk hits Damson off of Amber.
Silver: GET AWAY FROM HER!
