Everything Stays: In the Future

Survey Mission

Up in Beacon Academy, Team STNE moved down through the campus to the docks. It had been about four days since the attack on the Environmental Training Facility. Tensions were a bit high but nothing overly complicated. Stark sighed as he rubbed his eyes.

Nick: You ok?

Stark: Yeah. (Yawns) Just stayed up all night.

Nick: Doing what?

Ebony: Messing around with some one?

Stark: No. I was out at the library. I've got that exam coming up and I can't fail it.

Unknown to the rest of the team, Tealle was blushing after Ebony's comment. She had grown some feelings for her leader, but nothing overly drastic. Despite that, she still kept pace with her teammates as they all walked down to the docks.

Nick: Apparently we are working alongside a team from Haven.

Ebony: What for?

Nick: Since the attack, all huntsmen academies and like minded schools are trying to combine forces. Stand stronger together and all that.

Stark: Well, I for one am excited. I wonder who it will-

Mars: STARK?!

Stark: MARS!

Before them stood Team MMMN (Moon) from Haven. Mars Wukong and Stark walked up to one another and bro hugged each other. After getting out of the hug, they playfully began to box with one another.

Night: What am I, monkey liver?

Stark: Hey, Night.

Like before, the two of them hug one another. Both the rest of their teams walk up to them.

Nick: So, you know these two?

Stark: Guys, these are the Wukong twins. Mars, my best friend since I was 7 months old and Night...my...well...

Night: Ex.

Tealle: Oh. Did something-

Stark: It just wasn't going to work out. Anyway, you guys are working with us on a survey mission?

Mars: Apparently. So, are you going to introduce us you crazy dog?

Stark: Oh, right. Mars, Night. This is Team STNE. Tealle Bronze, Nickel Quartz and Ebony Brown. And your other two.

One, a black haired boy walked up and shook Stark's hand. He had a red and orange jacket on.

Marcus: Marcus Rey?

A blonde hair girl also walked up and bowed slightly.

Mary: Mary Gold.

Stark: Well, it is a pleasure.

Oobleck: (Off-screen) Yes, yes. Now that we have the pleasantries out of the way. Shall we begin?

Stark: Got it, Doc.

Oobleck was in his mid to late sixties as of date. Out of the entire older staff at Beacon, he had been around since the fall and the reconstruction. Despite thick and thin, Oobleck stayed loyal to the school. Port and Goodwitch also stayed. However, a few years back, Port passed away out of old age. A couple of great-grandchildren to his name as well. Glynda also retired with Ruby filling in her position.

As of now, both teams and Oobleck were moving towards the mountains of Vale. The bullhead landed and the teams exited the ship and moved around slightly.
