The following week, things seemed to be more than usual. School was the same old same old, boring yet sometimes entertaining in certain aspects. Regardless, it was now Friday and that meant combat with the homeroom. After the bell rung for the day, Fred stepped into his classroom and saw everyone was still in attendance.
Fred: Alright. So last week I evaluated your strengths and weaknesses and decided that today would be a good day to get you kids some environmental training. Test your aspects in different combat fields. So, everyone on the bus, let's go.
Set: Bus? I thought all the gyms were on campus?
Fred: Not all of them. Besides, this one, I've got special perks on. Now let's go.
So, everyone moved outside and and onto special Signal Academy buses. After driving down the road for a few minutes, noise began to arise once again on the bus.
Opal: So, what do you think we will be training for?
Kelly: Well, either way, I'm pupped up! This is going to be fun.
So, the move continued for at least another twenty minutes before coming to a stop outside a massive stadium like building. As everyone began to file off the bus, sone caught site of a yellow haired woman. After everyone was off a yellow wall formed behind Fred's head and slapped him.
Fred: OW! Every time, Leia!
The yellowed hair woman, now revealed as Leia Arc-Burns, laughed to herself as she walked up and joined Fred.
Leia: It's just what I do, Boss.
Fred: Unfortunately.
A few whispers were heard throughout the students. Some making comments that Leia was here or that they bought weapon and weapon parts from her.
Fred: Listen up. As many of you guessed, this is Leia Arc-Burns. She designed this arena and sold it off to Beacon. However, since we share a good bond with Beacon, we are allowed to use it as we please.
Leia: Hey, don't steal my thunder.
Fred: (Sighs) Whatever. Come on. We're burning daylight. We got seven hours left and I want you all to your limit. Let's go.
With that, students began to follow Fred into the building. Leia stood off to the side and waited for Amber and began to walk with her.
Amber: Is he always like this when teaching?
Leia: No. He seems more relaxed than usual.
Amber: Well, that makes me feel better. It...it's good to see you again Aunt Leia.
Leia: Same to you, Sweetie. Of course, it's not everyday where I get to see you. I've heard you have improved.
Amber: Not by much. But I like to think that I can become so much better than before.
Leia: Well, at least you are trying. Now come on. We don't want to keep them waiting.
With that, the two followed everyone else inside. Inside was a wide variety of things, a shipwreck and water station, a landslide, a storm, a wildfire, mountain region and some city scape. Leia took up center stage in front of the students while Fred stood beside her.
Leia: Alright. So let me explain. This is an environmental combat training. Each of you will be assigned a group and go to that ring to fight. After looking over strengths and weaknesses with Dr. Scorch, we have concluded where each of you shall go. Now then, some rules. Not serious injury to other students. If your aura is in the red, sit out with us at the center fountain until your aura is back up to green. That means charge from 20% to 75%, no in-between. Also do not seriously damage the environment. This stuff cost a lot of money kids.
