Following the survey mission, Team MMMN had packed up their gear and had returned to the kingdom of Mistral, mainly Haven Academy. As the team was unpacking, Marcus walked into the room, a bit of annoyance on his face as he did so. While Mary and Night turned to him in a bit of confusion, Marcus walked right up to Mars, who was lying on his bed, almost asleep.
Mars: Hey, boyo! There a problem?
Marcus: Headmaster wants to see you?
Mary: Hiltzaile?
Night: What did you do now, Mars?
Mars: I did nothing!
Marcus: Exactly! He wants a mission report. And you're the leader of this team.
Mars: Yeah, yeah. I'm on it.
Mars grumbled and walked out his dorm room and outside across Haven's courtyard. Ever since the attack on Haven nearly 30 years ago, the school has been heavily remade. Increased security, new dorms and facilities, the usually works. According to his father, Haven was much more traditional and common ground when compared to the current day school.
Despite all the changes, the headmaster's quarters were still within the Grand Hall of Haven Academy. So, after navigating a few students and teachers, he appeared within the hallway towards the headmaster's office. He sighed to himself and began to walk over and knocked on the door.
Bazaar: (Muffled) Come in!
Mars took in another deep breath and walked inside the office and carefully closed the door behind him.
Mars: Hello, Professor.
Bazaar: Mars. Please, come and sit.
Mars did so, taking one of the two seats in front of the headmaster. Bazaar had yet to say anything else, going over some papers on his desk. Mars could see some were budget forms and other expenses for the school while another was papers about the attack on Signal, the battle outside of Vale and even a few attacks along the border of Mistral and Atlas.
Mars: Uh, Professor, if you need my mission report, I can have it by the end of the weekend. Trust me, I-
Bazaar: I completely trust you, Mr. Wukong. And I do believe you will have that report in based on those parameters you just set up for yourself.
Mars: (To himself) Crap.
Bazaar: But that is not why I wanted you here.
Mars: Oh, uh-
Bazaar: That cavern, those people inside. I want to know what you were able to find.
Mars: Nothing of serious note. One was a giant for sure. Gotta be around 8 feet tall. White hair. Dude fought like a monster though. Not a style I've seen before. Oh, another one had a warp ability. He was definitely there at Signal. Dr. Oobleck and Mary were the ones who took pictures. It was just a bunch of dusty monitors. I think they were just using it as a living space.
Bazaar: Understood. Thank you, Mars.
Mars: Uh, Professor, should I be concerned about any of this?
Bazaar: No, leave to myself and Professor Pine. There is no reason to fear.
Mars: Sir...that warp guy, he attacked my sister, he attacked my cousins. I want to know who he is.
Bazaar: As do many. Mars, go spend some time with your team. You will be deployed on another mission shortly.
Mars: (Sighs) Yes, sir.
