It had been a year since Stark was away at Beacon Academy and he had grow quiet a lot in his skill level. However, now at 18, he and his team and their own issues to deal with. Amber however, couldn't be more excited about today. This had been a day she was waiting for for months on end. The first day of Signal Academy. She had forged her weapon, sharpened her skill and got ready to kick some serious butt. The morning of, Amber was eating, getting dressed and zipping around the house faster than Ruby would on coffee.

Amber: Dad! Come on, come on, come on! You're the head of a department! You need to be going!

Fred: I don't need to be there for another hour. Amber, it's a school. I'm surprised you're that excited for it.

Amber: Just a school? Dad! It's mini Beacon! I can finally get full training! I can become a huntress in no time!

Yang: (From her bedroom) No time is still time. (Kisses Amber's head) How's my energetic little fuzz ball?

Amber: Excited!

Yang: Clearly. You may want to get going before she ignites the house on fire.

Fred: Yeah. That's normally your job.

Yang: It was one time.

Amber: Wait?! When did that happen?!

Fred: Oh hey look at the time, school! Go, go! (To Yang) We don't mention this again.

Yang: Agreed! (Kisses Fred) Love you.

With that, Fred and Amber left to head out towards Signal Academy. Signal was a large four building school with plenty of different sports teams and combat fields. Pulling into his designated parking spot, Fred stopped the car while Amber looked out at Signal's massive clocktower. While quiet, the word "whoa" was able to escape her lips. She turned back and smiled at her father who locked the car and gathered up a bag and roller and headed out of the parking lot.

Amber: This is going to be awesome!

Fred: Alright alright. Stop fangirling out. Remember, get to the gym. Wait to be dismissed. I'll see you there.

Amber: Alright Dad! See you later!

Fred walked down to where his building was while Amber went into the gym. As she was walking up to it, she stopped herself as she almost sensed something from behind her.

Amethyst: Move it, you damn nerd!

Amber: Oh...Amethyst. How are things with you?

Amethyst: Shut it! BEFORE I FRY YOU!!!

Amethyst Kristal, Amber's bully since fourth grade. The girl did have a big ego and had a competitive spirit. She pushed Amber out of the way before walking into the gym herself. Amber rolled her eyes and was about to go inside until she stopped and sensed another presence, this one, far more likable.

Opal: Amber?!

Amber: Opal!

The two ran up and hugged one another, happy that a new year could begin with them together. Behind Opal was the rest of the group that internally called themselves "The Gang". Silver Adwin Jr., Kelly Crann, Raleigh Flynn, Bruno Orin, Robin Oztador, and Sapphire Wisteria. The eight of them were friends since middle school and now, here they were. All gathered inside the gym and continued to talk to one another and laugh and have a generally good time.

Raleigh: So I said to her, "Here's the hand of God!".

The group fell into silence.

Raleigh: What?
