Lance and Shiro were the first ones out of the car. As promised, Lance gave Shiro a great big hug and thanked him again.

Shiro then opened the trunk so everyone could grab their bags. Everyone turned when they heard someone running towards them.

"SSSHHHHIIIIRRRRROOOO!!!!" the voice called and instantly, Shiro teared up and called back, "MMMMAAAATTTTTTTTT!!!" and instantly started running toward him.

"What a couple of dorks," Pidge rolled her eyes.

"But you're one too?" Hunk raised an eyebrow.

"I'm a tech junkie-"

"That's just the cool way of saying it," Lance rolled his eyes.

"This is a really nice college," Anton commented.

"It is, but I don't think I'd come here," Keith shrugged as he walked toward the building.

"Don't forget about your dare, Hunk," Lance whispered.

"Oh, crap, I almost forgot about that," Hunk sighed. "Ugh, he's gonna hate me."

"He'll get over it...eventually," Pidge reassured with a pat on his back.

"Good luck," Lance gave him a thumbs up.

"Thanks." Hunk waved as he walked over to follow Keith.

"Think he'll make it?" Lance asked.

"I give it a few hours," Pidge replied and went ahead to greet her big brother.

"I give it an hour," Lance smirked and followed along.

Allura and Lotor followed quietly.

"It's so great to see you again!" Matt laughed, then gasped at his sister. "Oh my God! Pidge, look at you!"

"Hey," Pidge grinned and went in for a hug.

"I'm so happy to see you! Wow, everybody's here!"

"Well, of course!" Lance smirked and threw out his usual finger guns.

Matt chuckled, "Always the flirt. Get any girlfriends yet, my dude?"

"No, not yet, but they're just intimidated by my good looks," Lance sparkled with fake confidence.

"Really? I thought they were just annoyed with you and your so-called charm," Keith teased and Lance growled.

"Shut up, Mullet!"

"I see the rivalry is still going strong," Matt shook his head.

"It's a long story," Pidge pushed up her glasses.

"Can we get to the room so we can get settled in?" Hunk suggested.

"Oh yeah, totally! Follow me!" Matt sang and skipped ahead. "Oh! I almost forgot. Adam doesn't know you're here, so we're gonna surprise him."

Shiro blushed at the name. He smiled a little, remembering their relationship...that ended too soon, his smile faded.

"Shiro? You okay?" Lance asked concerned.

"Yeah, I'm fine," Shiro replied, avoiding eye contact.

"You don't have to lie to me, Shiro," Lance told him. "You help us out so many times...let me help you for a change. Everyone's ahead of us anyway, we can talk quietly."

Shiro sighed unevenly. "It's just...I guess I'm a little nervous to see Adam again. We haven't really...talked since the breakup. How do I know if he even wants to see me?"
