Keith and Lance were chilling in Lance’s room, Blue, Red, and Cosmo playing with each other. After the movie and Keith’s big day of excitement, the emo was ready for some quiet time.

“This is nice,” Keith commented quietly.

Lance smiled, content that his boyfriend was happy on his birthday. Suddenly, the quiet was interrupted by a Skype call on Keith’s phone. He sighed at the quiet being disturbed. Lance only chuckled and handed him the phone.

“Hello?” Keith greeted from his spot, face facing the ceiling and back on the bed.

“Hey, Keith,” greeted Adam, a bright smile on his face. “Happy birthday!”

“Happy birthday, Keith!!!” Matt yelled in the background.

“Thanks, you guys,” Keith chuckled a bit, a smile appearing on his face.

“Sooo, what’d you do to celebrate?” Adam singsonged.

“Well, my friends baked me some red velvet desserts, which were pretty good. Then my mom got me a Husky puppy, see?”

Keith turned the camera so they could see the puppy.

“Awww, he’s so precious,” Matt and Adam both squealed.

“Hehe, thanks,” Keith smiled. “Then, my wonderful boyfriend took me to the movies to see Venom.”

“I heard that was really good,” Matt noted.

“It was, though, I’m very confused by the end scene,” Keith told him.

“I was too,” Lance added.

“Well, don’t tell me anything, I’m gonna see it this weekend,” Adam requested.

“We won’t,” Keith chuckled. “Anyway, Lance’s family also surprised me with a cake when we got home after we took Romelle to Allura’s place. That cake was so delicious...it was almost better than Hunk’s cakes.”

“Don't tell him you said that,” Lance warned, “Hunk would be pouting all week long.”

“I won’t,” Keith chuckled.

“Alright, well, I just wanted to call and wish you a happy birthday, kiddo,” Adam smiled at him.

“Thanks, Adam,” Keith smiled back at him.

“Anytime, Keith. You know I’ve got your back.”

“Yeah…”

“Alright, I’ll talk to you later.”

“Bye!” Matt yelled out, “Tell Pidge I said hi!”

“We will,” Lance smiled before Keith ended the call. “Well, that was nice of him to think of you.”

“Yeah...it was,” Keith smiled, a light blush on his face. “Very thoughtful.”

“Why do you always blush whenever Adam gives you attention?” Lance asked.

“I dunno…” Keith shrugged. “I just...he makes it so easy to impress him…”

“Hmm...sounds like you want to impress him...heeyy, do you have a crush on him???” Lance asked teasingly.

“Ew, no, gross, Lance,” Keith flushed harder as Lance burst out in laughter. “Speaking of crushes...can I talk to you?”

“Yeah, what’s wrong?” Lance stifled his giggles, sensing the seriousness in his tone.
