Lance waited for Keith to return from the room with Shiro's keys. He was gonna get to see the Hollywood Sign! That was like, number 5 on his bucket list. He didn't have to wait long before he caught sight of Keith walking toward him.

"Come on, get in," Keith ordered as he unlocked the door.

"Wait...do you even know how to drive?" Lance asked.

"I ride a motorcycle every day, how hard can this be?" Keith shrugged.

"Oh dear Lord, we're gonna die," Lance whispered worriedly.

"Get in," Keith demanded.

Lance sighed, said a quick prayer, then got into the passenger seat. Keith started the engine.

"Got the address?" Keith asked.

"Yeah, we can follow on Google Maps," Lance told him and showed him his phone.

"Alright, let's do it," Keith smirked and put the car into drive.

[1:30 AM]

"I'm never riding with you in a car ever again!" Lance shouted as he got out of the van.

"Relax, I got us here, didn't I?" Keith chuckled.

"You're a jerk," Lance punched Keith's shoulder playfully.

"You're weak," Keith teased.

"And what's wrong with that?" Lance sang out.

"Boy oh boy I love it when I fall for that~" they both sang and giggled afterward.

"You listen to AJR?" Lance asked surprised.

"Yeah, you sound shocked," Keith replied.

"Well...yeah, I didn't know you listened to pop music. I always thought that emo lone wolf Keith would listen to hard rock, punk, heavy metal, y'know, emo stuff."

"Well, as I keep reminding you, I'm not emo," Keith groaned annoyed.

"Come on, you're sooooo emo," Lance retaliated.

"How am I emo?" Keith questioned.

"Well, you're always in a corner brooding, you have a black mullet, you seem super sad all the time, and you always deny it," Lance shrugged as he rambled on. "Oh, and you like knives."

"What does the last one have to do with anything?" Keith asked, his voice cracking in confusion.

"Cuz, you got emotional over an object: that knife."

"Well, duh, it has sentimental value, you dingus," Keith defended.

"Tis true, however, you're also angsty af," Lance added.

Keith growled, but didn't say anything else. They both made it up to the Hollywood Sign.

"Well, looks like I can take 'visiting the Hollywood Sign' off my bucket list," Lance sighed with content.

Keith only chuckled in response. Lance handed him his phone.

"Can you take a pic of me?" Lance requested.

"Sure, unless you think my emoness will affect your picture," Keith smirked.

"I'm already taking a chance, don't ruin it, Mullet," Lance warned as he went to stand in front of the two L's.

"Of course, L for Lance," Keith huffed amused. "Okay, smile."

Keith took the picture, actually quite a few, with different poses. Then, Lance took some pictures of Keith in front of the H, only because that was the last letter in his name. Though they couldn't get the full sign, they had fun with their little photoshoot. They even took a couple of selfies together. They ended up sitting on the grass, leaning on the D. It was quiet for a moment, the two of them enjoying the sounds of crickets and other nature sounds.
