“Looking sharp, lil’ bro,” Veronica smirked as she peeked into his room.

Lance shrieked, “Veronica! Get outta my room!”

“Chillax,” she leaned against the doorway coolly. “So, what's the agenda?”

“I dunno, he won't tell me the plan,” Lance ran his fingers through his hair. “That's why this is so hard.”

“Just wear something nice, but comfortable,” Veronica shrugged. Then, she pushed herself off the wall and walked into the room. “Here, lemme see what you got.”

She opened the closet door to look for something nice her bro could wear.

“So, you excited?” Veronica asked while she examined a blue ombre dress shirt.

“Yes, I can't wait to see what he has planned for us,” Lance beamed, “I don't even care what it is. I know he's the one and I'll have fun with him no matter what we do.”

“Aww, I'm sure you will,” Veronica smiled and handed him the outfit she picked out. “My job is done.”

“Thanks, sis!” Lance called as she left the room.

“My pleasure!”

There was a knock on the front door and Lance assumed it was Keith. What time was it? How had he lost track of time!?

“Crap,” Lance muttered as he quickly got ready.

Keith pulled up on his motorcycle wearing a red MCR tee shirt and black ripped jeans. He took a deep breath as he walked up to the door. He couldn't wait to take Lance out tonight. He had the whole night planned.

He knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer it. The door opened and he saw Lance's nephew.

“Hi, Keith!” Sylvio greeted.

“Hello, uh...Sylvio, right?” Keith smiled.

“Yay! You remember me!” he cheered and hugged Keith's legs.

Keith awkwardly pat the kid's hair before making his way in the house.

“Ah, hola, Keith,” Rosa greeted with a big smile. “Welcome back, niño.”

She gave him a tight squeeze, making sure he felt welcomed.

“Hello, Mrs. McClain,” Keith squeaked due to lack of air.

“Ah, mi niño, I told you, it’s Rosa,” she pat his back before releasing her tight hold. “How are you today?”

“I’m good, how are you, um...Rosa?” Keith asked, feeling awkward for calling an adult by her first name.

“I’m doing great, thanks for asking,” Rosa offered a smile, “please, have a seat. I have no idea where Lance is…”

“He’s in his room having an outfit crisis,” Veronica appeared out of nowhere.

“Aye-yie-yie,” Rosa facepalmed and shook her head. “Is he okay?”

Veronica smirked with confidence, “Of course! With big sister Veronica to help him, he’ll be fine.”

“Phew, good. That boy can really overthink sometimes,” Rosa smiled.

“Sooo, what are you boys going to do?” Veronica asked while wiggling her eyebrows.

“Oh, uh, I...um-”

“You can tell us, we won't tell, niño,” Rosa smiled reassuringly.

“Okay...I was thinking...well, Shiro helped…”
