"Bisabuelos! Bisabuelas!" Sylvio and Nadia squealed, excitedly running up to them.

"Hello, my beautiful babies," Sophia, Rosa's mother, greeted, hugging the children. "Look how big you've both grown."

"Grandma, grandpa, this is my best friend, Keith, his mom Krolia, and his brother Shiro," Lance introduced them.

"Ah, Lance. It's so good to see you making new friends," Julio, Rosa's father, smiled. "Pleasure to meet you all."

"Mom, dad, please have a seat," Rosa offered.

"Same goes for you two," Joseph added for his parents, José and Marié.

"Thank you for having us," José hugged his son.

"Dinner will be ready in just a few hours," Rosa explained to them. "Veronica!?"

"I'm right here, mom," Veronica ran back into the room. "Hi, grandmas and grandpas!"

"Veronica!" they greeted. "Our favorite grandchild! How are you?"

Veronica blushed at the title. "I'm doing good! You all look well. It's really good to see you again."

"It's good to see you too, dear," Marié smiled.

"It's been so long. Hugs for all of you."

She hugged her grandparents before returning to the kitchen.

"Everything okay, mija?" Rosa asked.

"Yeah, my friends just texted me, letting me know they'll be here soon," Veronica told her.

"That's great."

They smiled at each other before continuing their cooking session.

The doorbell rang and Keith offered to get it since everyone was busy cooking, cleaning, and conversing.

"James?" Keith raised an eyebrow.

"Keith? What are you doing here?" James asked, twiddling his fingers.

"I'm Lance's boyfriend, I was invited," Keith told him.

James cleared his throat before standing straighter, trying to show confidence. "Well, I'm dating his sister. Now, if you could let us in?"

Keith stepped aside and let in the guests.

"Hey, everyone! Happy Thanksgiving!" Rizavi cheered happily, a bright smile on her face.

"Nadia!" Nadia ran up to her and hugged her.

"Hey, copycat." She ruffled her hair, making the girl laugh.

"Stop it," she giggled, slapping her hand away. "Can I braid your hair again?"

"Of course, just let me say hi to Ronnie first," she promised.

"Okay! She's in the kitchen," Nadia informed her.

"Thanks," she waved and headed to the kitchen.

Rizavi walked over to the kitchen.

"Hello, Mrs. McClain," she greeted with a smile, "hey, Ronnie."

"Nadia, you made it," Veronica cheered and hugged her friend.
