"We really need to get there on time, it's already 4:00 p.m." Pidge hustled inside. "Exactly, which means we have 6 hours. Chill, Pidge." Lance flew back on to his couch, his sisters coming over to greet everybody.
"Hugs for everyone!" Rachel threw her arms around Pidge and Matt, squeezing them together.

Veronica just stood aside and waved. She wasn't the type to interrupt conversations.
She went over to Hunk and Lance, who were on the sofa. "Hey, special occasion?" She smiled gently, half her back on the couch, another on the side of it. "Lotor's 18th Birthday party kind of occasion." Hunk slumped over.

Veronica rolled her eyes, adjusting her position again. "Isn't Lotor that irritating drama freak who's cockier than any other new twenty-eighteen celebrity?" Veronica dramatized bigly.
Lance shrugged, looking to her. "He's not that bad." Lance insisted, which Hunk thought otherwise.

"So, how long have you and Lotor known each other?" Rachel clasped her hands. Matt, Pidge, and Rachel left the other three to sit in peace.
Pidge blinked. That was a hard question.
"Since the first year of middle school, I guess." Matt interrupted. "Oh, okay. Isn't Lotor the ultimate drama king?" Rachel giggled.
Pidge scoffed playfully. "Nobody can beat Lance to that title." She smiled.

Rachel was a nice girl, Matt had always thought that. But Pidge on the other hand, had seen her mother side. The worst side of Rachel. When her niece (Valerie) and nephew (Mateo) refused to behave, she would yell like there was no tomorrow. Lance always liked children, so this was when he wasn't home. Because if he was home, they would be like the Kardashians.
Lance would yell at Rachel from one end, Rachel would yell at the kids and Lance from the other. Pidge and Hunk has been there to see it multiple times.

"So where are the kids?" Pidge changed the subject, glancing around. "Oh, they're with Uncle Samuel and Mamá. They went grocery shopping, so they would be back until around 7:00, 7:30 Maybe." Rachel answered, looking down. "And I don't know if Lance told you, maybe it's because he doesn't know, but they're expecting another niece. Her name will be Isabella." Rachel smiled, telling them the biggest secret at the time.

"That's great!" Matt smiled, nudging his sister to say something. "That is really great, Rachel. Why aren't you expecting a niece?" Pidge wondered aloud. "Well, despite my age, I'm pregnant." Rachel nibbled on her bottom lip a bit.The sibling's eyebrows raised at instant realization. "Oh, congratulations!" They simultaneously congratulated.

"Thanks," she looked over to Lance. "Please, do not tell him under any circumstances. I beg of you, if he knows, the whole world knows." Rachel pleaded with hope of an agreement.
"Of course we won't go against your wishes, Rachel. But, I've trusted Lance with lots of things over the 18 years of knowing him. When me and you were only five and Lance was born, I told him things that I didn't even tell you." Matt justified his trust in Lance, the one quality that shined bright.

"Yeah, we aren't saying that you should tell him right away. But, Lance has kept secrets about really big things." Pidge continued Matt's statement. "Well, I'm glad you both support me. Thank you, I can't thank you enough. Only Marco, Uncle Samuel, Mamá, and now you have the privilege of knowing. I have extreme trust in you both, I've known you longer than my own brother." Rachel only smiled, looking at them. Matt looked down, wondering if he should ask the big question.

"Who's the father, if you don't mind me asking." Pidge politely asked, setting her hands on the table. "It's my boyfriend, Gabriel." Rachel just replied. Matt nodded, seeming this awkward conversation needed to end as soon as possible. "Pidge, why don't you ask Hunk to help you get dressed? He wouldn't mind, Veronica probably wants to spend sometime with Lance. We need to get to Lotor's place early." He nudged her hardly.

"H-Hunk? Why not you? Are you busy?" Pidge turned a shade of red, gulping lowly. "Yeah, I'm talking to Rachel. We're going to catch up." Matt shared a look with Rachel. She nodded softly. "Totally. Hunk would be happy to help, he has a good soul." Rachel hurried her along.

Pidge rushed up to him, Veronica and Lance arguing over some unnecessary topic.
"Hey, can you help me get dressed?" She smiled as she tried to hide her multiple blushes. Hunk smiled, a pink tint appearing on his cheeks. "Sure." He stood up, towering over Pidge. Lance looked over to Matt, upon seeing Hunk stand.

"We're gonna get dressed," Hunk said in an unordinary voice, almost sheepishly. Pidge nodded, staying quiet. Lance and Veronica exchanged looks. They both hurried up the stairs, giggling themselves into Lance's room. Pidge turned the lock on the door.
"Lance's face is priceless." Hunk softly chuckled, getting the bag from the floor.
"Yeah." She agreed quietly. Pidge stared at the dress unsurely.

"I don't know, maybe I'm not the right fit for the dress." She turned to a mix of solemn and insecure. "What are you talking about?" Hunk laid the dress on Lance's blue sheeted bed.
Pidge just huffed and took her astronomical type shirt off. "Just help me." She pouted, the ends of her hair standing up. Hunk nodded firmly, the blush clearly still apparent on his face.

The skirt she was wearing dropped off, and Hunk tried his best to be respectful. Hunk opened the zipper, pushing the dress over her shoulders. The dress then slid over the bottom half of her body, with minor help. Pidge fixed the bottom, which was curled up. Hunk smiled, gazing at the sight. "Cute." He managed to blurt. It was undeniable, she was very cute.

Pidge patted down the ends of her hair, and fixed it. "Thanks, Hunk. I think I'm ready. I can go like this, right?" She turned around to reveal her amazingly beautiful dress, which fitted her body perfectly. "Of course you can go like that! You look so- well, beautiful! Your beauty goes more than skin deep, Pidge." Hunk expressed, Pidge's eyebrows raised.

"T-Thanks," She smiled with rosy cheeks.
Hunk overlapped his lower lip with his upper one as they walked down the stairs. Rachel looked over, a glass of green tea was now in her hands. "Doesn't somebody look gorgeous?" Veronica's mouth fell open at Pidge's appearance.

Rachel inspected her closely. "You don't like makeup, that's good. I never liked makeup, it's so artificial. You already look ravishingly glamorous." Rachel smiled from the side.
Matt nodded and smiled brightly, approving of the dress. Lance shot her a toothy grin, one that was extra astonished.

"We should get ready too." Matt left the table, leaving Rachel alone. Hunk just continued up the stairs, and Lance groaned. "Do we have to get ready now?" He whined childishly.
Matt blankly stared. "Yes." He assured again, going to follow Hunk up the steps. Lance blinked, having a desire to stay on the couch.

"Go, now." Veronica pointed to his room.
Lance rolled his eyes, scoffing. "I am, I am." Lance trudged dreadfully.
