Hunk's wheelchair was strolled out by Pidge, who insisted she would handle him.

"You ready to go home?" The girl asked as he got up and into Lance's car. He nodded, smiling. His throat still hurt from the afternoon that he once cried on the flooring, coughing up the bloodiest mess. Hunk tried not to think back to it, not wanting to be candor.

Lance welcomed him by a humble smile and, of course, Hunk smiled back. They were on their way to Hunk's house, where Keith and Romelle waited. Allura said she would also tag along, in the act of manners, and Hunk used to be her middle school best friend/boyfriend after all.

Though, at the Garrett household, things were more chaotic than usual. "Romelle, hold the cup properly!" Allura shouted from the kitchen.
"I'm trying, Allura! Jesus," Romelle whined.
Keith cringed, placing the other headphone in his left ear to tune out the fighting best friends.

"Would you just hold it with both hands?" Allura sighed, probably having the urge to roll her crystal blue-ish, purple-ish eyes at the girl.
"Allura, are you blind? I am!" Romelle insisted.
Keith was sick of the muffled yelling. He got up, approaching the kitchen. He smiled falsely.
"If you girlfriends want to fight, be more quiet!
Romelle, just hold the cup with both of your hands and Allura. Stop complaining!" Keith instructed as he glared at the friends.

"Sorry." They simultaneously apologized.

Keith shrugged, mostly annoyed. He could put up with his stubborn—yet very charming—friend named Lance McClain, though he couldn't stand Romelle and Allura's arguing.
He could put with Pidge, the gremlin who threatened his sugary coffee with poison.
Keith loved Hunk, there's no excuse for him.
The reason being, and Keith's point exactly,
Hunk was very quiet. Hunk didn't bother him.

The doorbell rang to Colleen's beaming smile blinding Keith's violet eyes.

"Keith! It's so nice to see you again, sweetheart!" She acknowledged, kissing his cheek. He only smiled, feeling somewhat uncomfortable. Sam stepped in behind her, flashing Keith a rushed smile before entering.
Behind him was their son, Matthew Holt, and his girlfriend, Rachel. These two are familiar.

"Hey, Keith." Matt greeted before taking his shoes off. Rachel patted his shoulder, laughing at the boy's flustered expression. "Get used to it, Altea's way more popular than Daibzaal."
She grinned, prancing in. Keith stared out the distance, with a puzzled expression. Had Hunk planned a fiesta without telling them?

What he meant was, Veronica was soon to arrive, so was Lance and Pidge. Tomorrow, Adam and Shiro would visit, and probably stay the afternoon. Matt, Rachel, Sam, Colleen, Allura, and Romelle had all already been there.
That makes eleven people total, including Keith himself. A blue Lexus pulled up to the curb, and Hunk was escorted out by Pidge, his wonderful friend. Lance got out the driver's seat, smirking at Keith creepily, it was pretty amusing to be honest.

Hunk felt as if he hadn't needed a wheelchair just to walk to the steps, so with that, Lance left the fold-up welch in the back of his trunk.
Keith ran down the steps, the mesh door made a following sound by slamming hardly against the ridge. "Hunk!" Keith cried his name, wrapping his arms around his neck. Usually, Keith wouldn't have to show this much emotion, mostly because he didn't feel like it.
Now was the one and only time, he would show his true feelings for a great friend.

"Hi Keith," Hunk hugged in return as Allura and Romelle came rushing to the door.
"Hunk, Hey!" Romelle called, waving as he smiled behind Keith's back. Once the two finally let go of each other's embrace, Hunk ran forward to lend Romelle and Allura some hugs.
Lance sprang forward to Keith, who was suffocating from Lance's tight hold on him.
"Where's my hug!?" Pidge threw her arms in the air, joining the nearest one, which happened to be the two dorks that she lived for.

"You know," Keith coughed once being let go.

"We should really stop hugging. It's for our own well being."

...

Romelle and Allura took seats close to each other, actually next to each other. Hunk and Pidge sat next to them, and on the single chairs at the end of the table held Sam and Colleen. Keith, Lance, Matt, and Rachel stayed on the other side of the table. Veronica never showed.

"Aww, Hunk. It's okay, you don't have to cry." Colleen patted his shoulder, comforting him.
"Yeah, ya' big baby!" Pidge teased, earning a glare from her mother. "Sorry," she mumbled.
Lance chuckled from across the table.

"Mrs. Holt really has the power to shut the most annoying ones up." Lance quirked his eyebrows upwards as Pidge's nose wrinkled.
"Yeah, like you." Keith coughed between laughs. He and Pidge shared a high-five from across the opposite ends of the table. Matt and Sam couldn't contain their laughter at Pidge and her unusual friends. Between these bubbly laughs, Matt fortunately noticed Rachel's bewildered expression.

"You okay, babe?" He asked with an undertone.
She didn't really respond, only grabbed his hand, and placed it on her stomach. His face lit up with joy and amazement.

"Why are you two all happy?" Lance exaggerated.

"The baby just—kicked?" Rachel made the sentence sound like more of a question than an answer. Hunk's and Pidge's mouths dropped open and stayed there for a while.

Lance smiled as he rushed over to his sister.
Resting a hand on her stomach, he gasped.
Sam and Colleen stared at each other in awe.
Keith laughed as Lance dragged his hand over to the girl's belly bump.

"I-it's definitely true, the baby's kicking." Keith stated as they all beamed and chuckled.

"Yeah," Matt said, smiling and placing a soft kiss on Rachel's temple.

<3 awww the fluff here. I felt bad for the last chapter and all that angst and stuff.
It's only Rachel's sixth month, three months to go! Trust me, it will go by in a snap of fingers. Well, that's all.
I hope you all enjoyed, and thanks for reading! Kisses, Rena <3
