Pidge's honey colored bangs flowed in front of her face while sitting down. Keith bit the left side of his cheek, his violet eyes wandering.
"Hey, I've been meaning t ask, how's your friend?" Keith nervously chuckled, running his hands through his mullet. Pidge looked up from the brown table, her eyes flickering.

"Which one?" Pidge's head tilted slightly, even though she had a major idea of who Keith was referring to. "The blue one. I mean the one with the blue eyes, bronzed skin, a giant flirt. How's he doing?" Keith's expression softened from the crunched one he wore before.
"Lance? He's got himself a new girlfriend. She's amazing, really. Very superior to me, and every girl I know." Pidge sighed seemingly incoherent.

Keith swallowed. "Right. How's Shiro? Have you heard from him since-well since yesterday?" Keith also asked. Pidge shrugged.
"He's not that close with Lance and Hunk and I. I mean, he's closer with Lance than Hunk and me." Pidge glanced at Keith's tattoo of a bow and a separated arrow on his exposed wrist, which had some scars on it.

"Oh. I figured that much," Keith abruptly slouched, his eyes scanning. "So, when do you go back to school?" Pidge apathetically asked.
"September 5th, at Tulsa-Altea high-school. What about you?" Keith seemed incoherent about school starting. Pidge blankly stared at her hands, the words of Keith ringing in her ears. "You're going to Tulsa? Why not Arbor?" Pidge breathily gulped, realizing she answered the question with another question.

"Um, I'm going to T-Tulsa also. So is Hunk, Lance, um-Allura and Lotor." Pidge was having a small panic attack that was only apparent to her own self. "Oh. That's cool, I guess." Keith shrugged. "What were you saying about Arbor?" Keith abashed quietly. Pidge crossed her legs, putting her hands on her lap.
"I was saying, why not Arbor? It's the best in Canada, the city of Altea. Why not there? Tulsa High is all the way in Aris." Pidge actualized the personality of her character by this statement. Keith now knew that she was a smart, tiny, and full-of-opinions type of girl.

"I was kicked out of Seal Coast Conservatory in Daibzaal-for something about discipline issues.
I don't think Arbor was the best place for me." Keith disappointedly sighed, looking up at a bothered Pidge. "I heard Seal Coast is a-um- harsh school." Pidge mumbled enough for Keith to hear her with the loud crowd.
Keith took a sip of his way too bitter coffee.

"It really is. I met Shiro and he told me to come join him at Arbor, but I couldn't. I turned him down, and I kind of feel-I don't know- bad?" Keith dismally swallowed, beginning to push his chair out. "Nice talking o you, Pidge. I'll see you around." He cleared his throat, getting up completely. "Yeah," Pidge muttered under her bitter breath. Keith shot her a glance and smiled, exiting the shop.

"He had an opportunity that Lance, Hunk, and I never did...and he turned it down?" Pidge blinked the process of thought bothering her to a mild point. The highway that was shown right outside of the big window showed cars driving and swerving everywhere. "Whatever." She rolled her eyes so many times that you would have pity on her.

...

Lance speedily walked to 110 Quadric Lane, to catch Allura gazing down at the rock pond.
"Hey!" The tanned-skinned boy raises his hand quickly, running toward the white-haired girl.
"Lance." Allura stood, her eyes glistening with regret. Lance could just read her expression from the moment he laid foot on the lane.
Lance seemed worrisome, which was a bit out of character. "It's fine," Lance clenched his fist, his expression plain.

"You don't have to bring it up, and Lotor dos have to know. It never happened, and I'm sorry." Lance maturely apologized, softening Allura's paranoid facial features. "I'm also sorry." Allura said with remorse. They stood there, staring at each other longingly.
"So, what's the hold up? Are you coming?"
Lance bit his bottom lip, turning around to walk the opposite way. Allura nodded, not looking forward to the ardent conversation.

...

Pidge walked back to the café, Hunk awaiting her. Matt was on his break, which was usually at twelve-o'clock p.m., but a few customers abruptly prevented that. It was now two-forty-seven, and Matt finally got to run home for half the day (at least until 5:00 p.m.). Hunk sat on top the counter, whistling while patiently waiting for Pidge, Lance, and Allura to arrive in their glory. A girl with honey hair and a blue jumper with a Pepsi shirt inside pushed the door open.

"Pidge! Finally!" Hunk ran all the way around the little desk just to hug her. She smiled softly, looking around. "Is Lance here?" She asked, hoping that the answer would be a 'yes', which it wasn't. "Nope, sorry. He went looking out for you and Allura. By the way, and I know this isn't my place to tell you, but he kissed her." Hunk rambled on about known information.

"I grasped that. I saw it happen!" Pidge exclaimed frustratedly. Hunk blinked twice in a row, his jaw flopping open again.

"Excuse me? What did you just say? My hearing might be a little off, oh no, maybe I'm deaf! You saw it happen, and you didn't come to Matt and I?" Hunk irritatedly fumed, getting a moody groan from his best friend.
"Look, I can explain right now." She bit the inside of her cheek gently.

"Yes, that's what I anticipated." Hunk showed Pidge to a high-seat. He exhaled loudly.
"Please, make it quick. Rush hour is coming very, very soon." Hunk requested.
"Well, I stormed out because of Lotor. He wanted me to help him break Shiro and Lance up, and it was in an impeccably stupid way.
Anyways, I went in the direction I saw Lance and Allura leave in, but it was only because I wanted to tell Lance about Lotor's antics." Pidge began with confidence, only to hope it would remain.

"When I passed down a random lane, I saw those two walking no where near the shopping center. They-you know- kissed and whatever.
I was really mad, and I thought of just having a bubble tea somewhere that wasn't here, like out of the ordinary. Then, I accepted the fact that it was Lance's decision of who he wants to date and be friends with, it's not my life.
-Oh, and I met Keith at the coffee shop." Pidge changed subjects rather quickly, which Hunk didn't mind.

"Um, well on the Lance part. He didn't mean to kiss her, it was just a type of thing where they were in the moment. It wasn't a big deal, and nobody expects it to be." Hunk lectured politely, and Pidge nodded. "Didn't you see I changed the topic? I want to talk about what Keith said." She set it out plainly, and Hunk agreed joyfully.
