Here's a riddle for this chapter:
Being the ones who ride,
Ebony and Lavender,
Trying to keep tears at bay,
Relocating our love for each other,
And keeping a distance,
Yield the love. . .
Adjusting to the wild life,
Love is wild.

"I don't understand." Keith slammed his forehead on the brown, wooden table. Pidge smiled, serving them both different drinks. "Blueberry bubble tea, and unsweetened iced tea." She set the drinks down, immediately leaving afterward. Hunk was being taken care of by Rachel and Matt that day due to Keith's 'tutoring' and Lance's 'teaching'. Pidge couldn't stay home again as much as she tried, according to Rachel, it was 'unhealthy'.

Lance sighed, shaking his head. "You don't have to understand. You just need to know what a lunar eclipse is. Which is. . ." Lance expectedly stared at his friend. "When the moon passed over the sun?" Keith asked.
"No! That's a solar eclipse." Lance closed his textbook shut. "You'll get it soon enough." Lance stood, pushing in his chair and picking up his blue drink. "Wait. Where are you going?" Keith's eyebrows twitched up. His heart lurched.

Please, don't leave again.

"I have to do something. I'll call you later," Lance smiled not as brightly as usual. Keith frowned, nodding.

Lance waved Pidge a goodbye, then advanced more up into the street. Pidge slid out her desk, sliding into Lance's pervious chair, across from Keith. "Hi." She smiled. "Hello." Keith continued to be gloomy. "Come on, Kogane. You can win him over." The girl winked.
"I don't need to win anybody over. I need to win grades, though." Keith cupped his own cheeks. "Stop doing that. It's weird." She sarcastically rolled her eyes. "Doing What?" He asked, frowning once more.

"Pretending to care about grades, and faking your sanity." She giggled, earning a blank stare from the boy that sat face-to-face with her.
"I might just go take care of Hunk, Matt could come over and help you." Keith shrugged sipping his bitter iced tea, incoherent on the matter. "We have to plan Veronica's birthday too." Pidge let out a heavy breath. "So many things to do, so little time." Keith smiled at her. "I'll see you later." She nudged. Keith nodded along, as always.

Not like he listened, he just nodded.

...

Shiro sat alone at the lunch table, he didn't have that many friends. Besides from Matt and Rachel. . . Shiro had no friends. And those two people weren't there. So, that faithful Saturday, Shiro had no friends and nobody to talk to.
He was friends with teens one age under, and next year he would get to hang out with them.

Men and women passed without thinking of the man known as Takashi Shirogane. He didn't even eat lunch, and he certainly didn't look for any pity. C'mon, this was Shiro. Why was his self-esteem so low? He wanted to pick out every single thing wrong with him and throw it at people. Suddenly, Shiro saw a tray slam down beside him. When looking up, Adam's smiling face appeared.

"Oh. Hi." Shiro scooted down, away from the boy. "'Oh, hi' is all I get? Shirogane, I'm practically your only friend." Adam nudged the boy beside him. "Yeah," Shiro mumbled.
Adam hit him on the arm, scrunching up his face. "What's the matter with you?!" Adam definitely had a short fuse, that's something that was quickly observed. "Nothing!" Shiro defensively screeched.

"I felt bad and came over here to sit next to somebody I genuinely like, and that person is you. So be happy. There isn't many people that I am fond of." Adam stated, defending himself.
Shiro blinked, then smiled. "Thanks." Shiro oddly felt his face heat up. "You don't have to thank me because I like you, Takashi. You're not much of a social person, are you?" Adam chuckled, not touching his lunch. Shiro had yet to touch his either. "Platonically, don't get any ideas." Adam obviously noticed the tint of Shiro's not-so-pale face.

"What? I-wasn't trying to--I-" Shiro frantically panicked. He wanted to hide in a paper bag.

"Calm down a bit, won't you?" Adam rolled his eyes, but he couldn't help but give a dumb smile.

...

"Matt, you're being too damn loud!" Rachel yelled in a whisper as she held her phone.
They were trying to snap pictures of a snoring, sleeping, and adorable Hunk. "Sorry! Geez, Rachel." Matt subtly rolled his eyes.
Matt sat near the dining table, Rachel snapping bunches of burst of pictures of the sleeping cutie. They both awed at him, before deciding to send Pidge the photographs.

The doorknob started to shake, a set of keys unlocking it. Lance appeared through the doorway, smiling. Matt side-frowned.
"Aren't you supposed to be tutoring Keith right now?" Matt asked suspiciously, checking his phone for the correct time. Lance nodded.
"So why are you here?" Matt asked once again.
"Because I'm on my way to a student council meeting." Lance flashed a smirk.

Rachel turned around, making a confused face.
"Since when are you in student council?" She laughed. "Since this year. I'm dreading it, but I gotta do what I gotta do," Lance whistled.
Matt hummed. "Who's in the student council club again?" Matt questioned. "Allura, Romelle, Lotor, Romelle's brother, I forgot his name, uh—me. That's it." Lance shrugged.

"Sounds like you're hanging out with the wrong squad. . ." Matt hummed along. "I'm not. I strictly just wanted to join something." Lance rolled his eyes at the brother-figure.
"Aren't you in the astronomy club with Keith?" Rachel interrogated with a accusing tone.
"Well, Yeah, But that's not a club. That's a—more like a class, I guess." Lance answered, guilty as charged.

"What about music classes with Romelle?" Rachel raised an eyebrow. Lance huffed, rolling his eyes multiple times. "I only take those in the summer." Lance mumbled. "Art club with Hunk. When are they starting?" Matt asked, now asking with a winning voice. He and Rachel has caught the culprit.

"I think they're canceling it this year." Lance answered, hurrying to slide his khakis on.
"I'll see you guys later. If Keith comes by, tell him I wasn't here. Love you." Lance stuck up the peace sign before pushing the door shut.
Rachel and Matt exchanged unimpressed looks. "He's lying to the person that he committed to being friends with." Matt sighed, jumping off the table and heading over to Rachel.

Swinging his arms around her shoulders, he smiled. "That's your brother for sure." They both giggled and smiled at one another.
Rachel tip-toed up to Matt's height.
"Mhm..." she pressed her lips against his, and this was the second time they'd actually. . .
kissed. Matt smiled against her lips, holding the girl's hips.

"You're the worst," Rachel laughed into Matt's chest. "You and I both know you love me, though."

Since you all love Machel so much, here's the second kiss. No, they aren't dating. It's mostly teasing and things couples do. Rachel isn't ready after what happened with her and her previous boyfriend. But, Machel is soon to come.

Adashi for you guys also. It's so cheerful! I

I have a question. Would you guys want to see how one of the student council's meeting goes, or not? Because if the student council meeting is shown, I have a whole different storyline planned out for it. If the meeting isn't shown, I can focus more on the other ships. But, keep in mind, I'll be dragging the Klance storyline on. So, you decide.

Vote:

A) Show the student council meeting and clear up the Klance and Allurance angst up.

B) Don't show the meeting and make the plot a slow burn.

Anyways, that's all for today.
