Tomorrow came.

Veronica was learning to stay distant from James, his best friend Ryan, also known as Kinkade, and Nadia, Ryan's girlfriend.
They did unfortunately get her drunk, she was
miserable until Matt came to her rescue.
Thank God for Matt, am I right?

James, Ryan, and Nadia weren't necessarily bad people. They were actually nice kids, high academic excellence. But Veronica got the hint, all of them were very competitive. When Keith came over, Veronica and he would have small conversations until Lance arrived. One frequent topic brought up was a bully named James Griffin. Coincidence, huh? Veronica didn't think so, there isn't such a thing called coincidence.

When Keith and Adam were the best of friends, James would usually pick on Keith for having higher grade scores, things like yelling in his face (Keith would get detention for more than yelling.) Once high school started, James and Keith were officially known as rivals. That's the reason Keith transferred into Tulsa and out of Middleton High. Oh, and it wasn't only James.
It was his sidekick Nadia, also. Kinkade was the nicest of the bunch, being that he was the videographer and didn't talk much.

Keith couldn't be happier that he found Shiro.
Shiro led him to Pidge and Hunk, and Pidge and Hunk led him to Lance. Okay, we're getting off topic. Veronica was keeping a great distance, keeping up lies that tied into each other. Yes, she did feel guilty and somewhat ashamed. Though, she also felt less and less concerned. As they all grew apart, they wouldn't have each other to create trouble.
There was some whispers that James and Kinkade got into a fight, and when Nadia tried to stop it, that caused problems between her and Kinkade.

Feeling like the much more sensible one, Veronica left. She ran home, more like sauntered home, to find Matt watching a movie as Rachel slept on his shoulder. Her baby bump was growing bigger everyday. Matt thought the baby was a girl, since the myth is that all boy children will be around the mother when it's a girl child. Mateo was never really attached to Rachel, mostly Veronica, but now that Rachel was having this baby, Mateo couldn't get enough of her.

Rachel had a gut feeling that this baby was a boy, though. She was only four months pregnant, and she already decided on names.
If a boy, the name would be Xavier.
If a girl, the name would be Isabella.
Matt was certain that they would make it through though. Even if Gabriel was on their tail, even if Pidge was going through something
that they couldn't fully understand, they would make it through the hard times.

Veronica slammed the front door, Rachel flinched in response, gradually falling back asleep. Matt smiled as a greeting, Veronica smiled in returned. Her bag was set down.
She was planning to do homework at one in the morning again, right now she had to check Instagram live. A girl under the username 'Ina_everything' was live about the fight that had taken place. This girl was known for the blogging of any drama whatsoever at any high school or college. It was her thing.

She probably even thought of recording this fight because her and Kinkade are videographer buddies, and she also probably took his side. Tagging Ryan, James, and Nadia all in the live, she was requested by almost every HCAA student to join. Everybody would know about this. Matt overheard the lockers slamming, the yelling. "Drama at school today, Ronnie?" Matt curiously asked, seeming that Veronica was fazed by this.

"Lots, Matt. It's those guys, Kinkade and James. They're just really foolish, at least James is." She whispered, worrying about waking her sister. "I figured." He shrugged, sneaking a glance at his angel. That's what Rachel looked like anyway, an angel.
Not just any angel! Matt's angel.

"I can't believe this," Veronica said, groaning at the tons of notifications she was getting.
It was annoying! The blow up was all about two cute guys who seemed to be best friends, they had a fight, and one of the guys then ditched his girlfriend. That's it. It happens everyday.

"Just ignore it, turn your phone on silent."
Matt suggested, Veronica took eh advice and tossed her phone onto her brown knapsack.
"I'm done. I'll be doing my homework, I'm upstairs if you need me." She smiled, assuring the boy. Matt nodded, giving a thumbs up.

...

Pidge was doing her homework next to Hunk, who was feeling fine. Absolutely fine. He wasn't showing any sign of distress at the time.
"You want some water?" Pidge noticed the red tint that appeared on her friend's face.
Pidge got no response, besides from a little nod. She set out to the kitchen, as Hunk started to cough. Making an odd face, Pidge continued.
He was probably getting used to the cold weather. It was hard to adjust in Altea, the climates were exaggerated.

Hunk stopped coughing, but started panting.
This wasn't normal, not for Hunk. Pidge immediately ran from the kitchen, almost dropping the glass on the floor. Hunk panted, coughs in between. "Oh God, Hunk." She mumbled, picking her phone up form the table beside them. Trying to stay calm, she called 911.

"911, what's your emergency?" The operator asked. "H-Hi, my name is uh, Katie Holt.
My friend is having some sort of attack, just two months ago he diagnosed with—" now Hunk was coughing up blood. Pidge's face fell completely, tears swelled. "M'mam?" The man said. "H-He's now coughing up blood!" She claimed in a more distressed tone. The man typed on the keyboard. "Where do you live and what's your friend's name?" The operated asked. Pidge blinked tears as she shushed Hunk, who was now bawling.

"My friend's name is Hunk G-Garret, my address is 123 Garden Way." She stuttered as Hunk choked up between his cries.
"Okay, Ms.Holt, help is on the way." The operator reassured before Pidge dropped the phone and embraced her 'best friend'.
"Everything will be okay, Hunk."
Pidge tried to comfort. But what if things weren't going to be okay?

They would just have to wait and find out.

Veronica, Punk/ Hidge with a drop of Machel ladies and gentlemen. I really have nothing to say besides from sorry.
The angst. I'm so sorry for angst, but there's a reason why Matt told Veronica to put her phone on silent. She couldn't possibly know what was coming next.
Kisses, Rena <3
