Engulfed in a burning and infuriating set of tears, Pidge strolled down the street with her sad expression worn, doing her best to cover it.
Salty and sweet tears consumed Lance, he was fully sobbing on his way back to the café, where he hoped to meet Pidge. Hunk rang her cell about a thousand times, yet to get an answer.
Allura was abandoned on the side of the street, sitting on some random brick steps.

Matt peered out the window to see a very upset Lance rushing towards the door. Matt swiftly moved back, not wanting to be hit in the face by a forceful door. Lance entered, his remaining tears now dried, his nose still red and eyes puffy. "Were you crying? What happened?" Matt asked, inspecting his flushed cheeks and frowning expression.

"Pidge, is she here?" Lance blinked, looking left and right. "No, she stormed out for a reason that goes by the name of Lotor. Why?" Matt nudged him to take a seat and calm down. Hunk took his apron off, hanging on the rack.
He made his way over to Lance and Matt.
"What's the matter?" He asked, pulling up a seat from the table behind them.

Lance gulped, starting to breathe normally.
"I did something that I shouldn't have.." Lance looked at the ceiling, then back at Matt and Hunk. "I-I kissed Allura." Hunk's jaw fell open, and Matt bit his bottom lip. "Why?" Hunk asked, his hands drawn to the table.

"I don't know! I was so caught up in the moment." Lance said sadly. Matt shook his head, he felt slightly dumbfounded.
"Where's Pidge?" Lance asked, trying his best to change the subject, which couldn't be changed. "We have no idea." Matt sighed.
"She's strolling the streets of Altea, probably raging like the hormonal teen she is." Hunk joked, it wasn't the right time.

Lotor sat behind him, the three other boys not noticing that he never left. His jaw clenched, his eyes watered, his chest tensed. Lotor was mad. It wasn't often that that happened, but this situation involved Lance, well plus Allura.
Combined. Shit. One more problem to add to the long ass list.

"Excuse me boys," Lotor made his jolly way over to the other three teens that sat in front of him. "Hey Lotor," Hunk blinked. Lance's face went a bit pale, Lotor's face was a light pink color. "So, Lance. I hear you had fun with Allura. Where exactly is she?" Lotor leered evilly at the sad boy. Lance's lip quivered, him biting it to hide. "Uh, 110 Quadric Lane." Lance answered, wishing on a rare star that he was correct.

Pidge's tears stopped, no anger remained.
"Maybe he likes her. It's his choice, though." Pidge spoke to apparently herself, reason being that nobody else was around. She walked into a unfamiliar coffee shop with a slouched back.
It was very crowded, probably a rip-off Starbucks store. The people looked so different, Pidge had always been used to
seeing Hunk's cheery morning face every day of the week since they were sixteen, and his father gave him the bakery.

Pidge observed the movements of everyone in front her, a girl with long blonde hair and tense movements. A man with a bowl cut, moving swiftly, almost planning his moves out before even they happen. A young looking boy with a plain expression on his face, long black hair which looked like a mullet, hesitated movements.

Wait. That was a guy she'd seen somewhere before. Pidge searched her mind throughly for an answer, a fear that he would approach her.
The no-name boy glanced over at the short girl in a jumper suit. "Pidge?" He partially asked, sort of knowing her and forgetting her simultaneously. "Hey..." the girl hesitated poorly. "Keith. I don't expect you to remember me. You were probably drunk out of your mind." Keith dully smiled.

Pidge nodded. "I was very drunk. You were, too." She mumbled, her mind flashing to the previous events, when Lotor was appearing to be nice. "So, wanna have a coffee? My treat." Keith humbly offered, an offer Pidge took.
"Sure."

...

Lance stayed silent as Lotor babbled his life away. Hunk and Matt exchanged more than a few glances once and awhile.

"Yeah, and then Allura said that she wanted to go to Paris. I told her that we couldn't possibly leave Altea with going unnoticed! It was a very complicated situation-" Lotor was interrupted by a yawn, and a fractured smile from Matt.

"We should get back to work, Lotor. We're sorry, we'll listen to your stories about Allura another day. Lance, you mind helping out in the kitchen? It's a bit harder when Pidge isn't here." Matt beamed politely, and Lance flinched at the mention of his own name.
"Sure, I can help." Lance shrugged tensely, pushing his chair out.

"I'll be on my way then," Lotor stood up quickly, moving past Lance. "I'll see you tomorrow, boys. Sending my most sincere love to Katie." The boy smiled, and the bell rang in the empty shop. Lance stood there, exhaling.
"I'm sorry, I-I just have to go back for her." Lance gripped the door handle tightly.
"Wait, who?" Hunk asked beforehand.
"Allura and Pidge. I'm so ignorant for leaving Allura on the street, and I need to apologize to Pidge." Lance stated before kicking the door on his way out.

"That boy is an enigma." Matt held his hips, looking toward his co-worker. "He sure is," Hunk scratched the back of his head.
"That's just Lance summed up for ya'."
