Veronica slipped through the sunsetting streets. The cold breeze swayed her hair out of her face. Her eyes kept rotating left, right, left again. Where was he?

Veronica knew the address, though his mother would most likely answer. She scoured everywhere, nobody within site. Her paranoid self wasn't getting any better. She was confident, yes. But he was no where to be found. Walking around in a cold ice box of a town wasn't the best choice of the year.

Veronica huddled against her furry coat, wanting to slowly dissolve into the cozy jacket.
But no, that was not going to happen.
Many car horns honked, being Halle Creational Arts Academy was up ahead. The noise awakened her, but she still dozed.

Her senses were dull, her body was numb.
"Going home is a good idea, Ronnie." A familiar sly voice said. Slowly turning round, Veronica shook in her boots. "Gabriel Martinez. How nice you see you here, in this totally popular area." Veronica's hair blew as the wind howled. Gabriel chuckled under his breath, sighing after.

"You never learn Serrano. Tell Rachel and your dumbass brother to leave me alone." Gabriel coldly ordered. "My dumbass brother has a name, you asshat! Rachel has a better life. Without you may I add. She was never bothering you, so you should learn to leave us alone!" Veronica fired back.

"So what brings you to Middleton? You know I live here. You come looking for me?" He smirked slightly. Veronica crossed her arms, rolling her eyes, trying her best to look uninterested. "You're such a bitch." Veronica spat. Gabriel swiftly stepped forward, putting his hands on the girl's hips.

Veronica uncomfortably tried to shove him off, pushing him and kicking. Thank God somebody saw. "Hey! Watch it, dude." A boy with brown-ish hair interfered. Gabriel immediately laid his hands off Veronica.
"Sorry, won't happen again." Gabriel apologized, and starting sprinting away.
"Coward." Veronica muttered, turning to this unfamiliar boy.

"Are you okay?" The brown haired boy asked.
"Yeah, Thanks. What's your name?" Veronica curiously asked. "Name's James." The boy noe known as James smiled. "Veronica." The girl smiled in return, holding her hand out.

"You live here, in Middleton?" Veronica asked, her eyebrows quirking up. "Nah, I just attend HCAA. How about you?" James questioned.
"No. Actually, I live all the way at Garden Way.
I attend HCAA, too." Veronica nodded along.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Veronica. I'll see you around, right?" James peppily said.
"Yeah, right." Veronica flashed a smily blush.

James saluted, beginning to walk away.
Veronica surprisingly shook her head.
"Huh. Nice dude."

...

Matt was arriving back in a few hours. Dusk bound, Pidge patiently sat on the window ceil, her feet had been hanging out the window.
Sam knocked at her door, smiling.
"Oh hey." She smiled back. "You have a visitor." Sam informed, walking in the other direction. Lance appeared in front of the doorway, holding various cupcakes and such.

"Hi." Pidge swing around, hopping off the bed to give her friend a warm hug. Amongst Lance's armor of a scarf, a knitted sweater and hoodie under, he was already warm.
"How's Hunk?" Pidge endearingly asked.
"He's fine. I just dropped him off at doctor Braxton's office. I figured you wanted some sweets from your sweetest bestie!" Lance bragged, though it was in a cute way, as everything Lance does is adorable.

Pidge accepted, noticing the rain starting to drizzle outside. "Thank you, Lance." She popped a quick kiss on the cheek, resting the cupcakes down on her vanity. Lance wore a dumb blush, sitting on the girl's bed.
"I've been meaning to talk to you about something." Lance started. Pidge nodded.

"I think I like somebody." Lance unsurely continued. Pidge's mouth formed an 'O'
and her eyebrows slouched. "Please tell me it's not Romelle, Allura, or Nyma. I actually like Romelle, and her dating my big brother is not the best thing to see. I don't even have to talk about Allura. . . Honestly, I hate Nyma. She's obnoxiously rude—" Lance cleared his throat.

"It's a guy, Pidge." Lance sheepishly smiled.
"Wha—Wait. It's Keith! It's Keith, it's Keith, it's Keith! Isn't it?" Pidge happily squirmed.
Lance sighed in defeat. "Yes, it's Keith." Lance admitted, finally.

"Okay, How long? When do you plan on telling Hunk? When do you plan on telling Keith?
When do plan on telling..uhm.. Rachel, Veronica,  and the rest of your family?" Pidge bombarded with loads of questions, oddly making Lance flustered. This was normal.
This was Pidge. She always did that. Right?

"Uh, I'll tell Hunk sometime today. I don't really know about Keith and the rest of my family. The only ones I could trust is Veronica and Rachel." Lance sadly said. "Awww." Pidge hugged her friend lazily. "It's fine! As long as Keith and you are dating, Veronica, Rachel, Hunk, Matt, and I will be perfectly fine with keeping your secret." Pidge offered.

"Thanks Pidge, but. . . I just feel like if I did tell him, we wouldn't get away with it for a long time. Just a month after, I'd be banned from seeing him." Lance tried not to whine, but he then grunted and flopped back on the bed.
"Why is love so hard?" Lance complained wearily. Pidge's eyes widened.

"You love Keith Kogane?"

...
