Any advice for budding authors who don't know where to start?
Just start writing. It can be crap, but you can take anything and build it up to something amazing. It doesn't have to make sense right away. It doesn't have to be perfect because in the end there will be people who will hate your work, but many will love it.

What are they like?
Chase has been through a lot in his life. He wasn't quite popular and was often bullied. Years before the story Chase was abused by his father. He's truly a really great guy, but his brain has boiled and no he's become someone that he's ashamed of.
Summary/Synopsis of the story:
Chase was fed up with his life and murdered someone who he felt deserved to die. He wakes up in a hospital and there he meets Murv. Soon, he tells Murv about his situation and with some advice from Murv, Chase is on the run to California. While he runs away Chase get's deeper and deeper into his mess. He puts the one's he loves in danger, and makes decisions that are anything but wise.
