Fantasy, paranormal, mythology; anything really as long as it's fiction and sounds interesting!

Mostly fantasy, but I'll experiment with others.

Hmm..I really don't hate any stories! I don't like romance stories though; I never got it to them, they're just not my cup of tea.
Any advice for budding authors who don't know where to start?
Take your idea and see how far you can get with it! Create characters, see the plot progress, gather information. If you love your story, and have confidence in it, then other people will too. Oh, and never give up!^^

What are they like?
Rose is very kind and caring, and is not afraid to talk to people. Living up in the small town of Oneida, she doesn't know much about the outside world, which is probably the source of her curiosity. She's full of dreams from the books she's read. She's got a take-charge attitude when something needs to be completed. Oh, and the most important thing of all? She's a ghost.
Summary/Synopsis of the story:
'The town of Oneida was quite possibly the most boring town in the world. It held the same shops, the same people, and the same faded colors. Calm, as some would call it. But that all changed the day Rose Baring died.'
Rose had always dreamed of adventure like in the pages of the multiple books she had read. But dying had not been on her list. Now princess of the Underworld, a home to creatures of the night, she is expected to save it from the war bridging between the Leeches and the Ibridis, all well trying to get back to her home and friend, Anthony. A tale of betrayal, adventure, action, and love, 'Haunted' is a story to die for.
Extra information about the story:
There's going to be action, adventure, pretty unique creatures (called 'The Lost Ones', Leeches, and Ibridis), and a HUGE twist in the middle of the story. But I can't leak it;)
