About the author:
Author's Name (Wattpad)?
MrOsterman (I'll give my real name of Rob Osterman as that is what I'm publishing under)
Where are you from:?
Michigan USA. (Also if any stalkers want to drop by, I have a weak spot for Kick Boxin' Chicken from the Thai food place on M59.)
What genres do you like to read?
I seem to be going on a zombie/ end of world kick lately. I'm not sure. I also like to read military non-fiction (Band of Brothers was one of my favorite accounts of WWII and Killer Angels remains a favorite)
What genres do you like to write?
I'm more a fan of character and story than genre. I like to write about strong and interesting women, and I like to create worlds that are fun to discover.
What stories do you hate?
I have very little hate for any kind of writing. Storytelling exists on a continuum from from abstract to personal, from lengthy epics to haiku.
Any advice for budding authors who don't know where to start?
1) Write.
2) Write what you know.
3) If you don't know it, learn it. Find someone who does know it. If you can't learn it, don't write it.

About the Stories:
What is it called?
Mind the Thorns
Genres?
Vampire/ Urban Fantasy
Who is the main protagonist (character)?
Regan Fairchild: Accountant, bachelorette, and vampire. She's old enough to realize she's not young but still young enough to believe in the potential for love. She just isn't in it anymore and doesn't understand why.
What are they like?
Regan is confident when she's in her comfort zone and very much not when she's out of it. She has a dry sense of humor and she tends to find a way to make a joke to herself out of just about every possible situation.
Summary/Synopsis of the story:
The story is not finished so I can't do a proper summary. So far, Regan has awoken in her coffin, clawed her way into the moonlight, and met the Earl of Detroit. She's confronted the man she left at the altar, nearly eaten her best friend, ended up making a snack out of a delivery girl who was in the wrong place at the wrong time (or right place at the right time depending on point of view). She's been to a poker game, shot, and rescued by a thrall.
Extra information about the story:
The thing I love about writing Mind the Thorns is that I have no control over the outcome. The novel is Reader Directed with votes on the website determining Regan's fate. I am honor bound to write the story my readers want, and nothing else.
