Summary/Synopsis of the story:
Fifteen-year-old Khione Icyen is terrified when she is ordered to leave her secluded home by her mother. Lost, she meets a boy who leads her into his world, which protects the earth in its shadows. There, Khione learns that her mother hid secrets, the boy is a prince with a dark past as well as a cold heart, and that she has a terrifying destiny to fulfill. If she doesn't, a growing darkness will take over the world.

What if everything you ever wanted was given to you by just taking a test and passing? Luxury, education, an ideal job, and a magnificent place to live? But what if you failed the test? What would become of you then?
Sixteen-year-old Ivy Blackthorne had heard of this test, located in the Crystal City. She heard that the Crystal City was a haven in the middle of post-world war destruction. But she was dubious; why didn't her mom like the topic? What happened to those who failed the test? Were they sent back out into the wild to fend for themselves again?
Only way to find out was to take the test herself. But fortunately, she wasn't alone. A certain cocky, gorgeous, and too-intelligent-for-his-own-good boy was going to join her and turn her adventure into something more vivid and less lonely. Together, they would unravel the purpose of Crystal City.

This is not your ordinary dystopian fiction. It is taken place during the construction of the perfect society. And what about the fact that the protagonists always put a twist in things?
