Where do you get inspiration from?
Most of my inspiration would be from quotes or my favorite authors. What are your interests? I love writing, reading, theater, singing, rollerblading, tennis, and musicals. :)

Cliche definitely, not a huge fan of most fan fictions unless they're funny or really well written and I'm not a romance reading kind of girl...
Any advice for budding authors who don't know where to start?
Start with something you're comfortable with then move on to adding things you're a little inexperienced with. :) And have fun, most of all.

About the Story:
Admit it, when you were little, you always wanted super powers. Well, Rylie Calister never had to wish for them. Her whole generation was born with genetic mutations causing powers to be normal for them. But when her only mother figure turns out to be even more of an insane scientist than she appears, everything so horribly wrong. Being forced to escape and head out into the unexplored wilderness with her two best friends and the only family that will accept her, Rylie learns more about her past and the mutations than she ever wanted to know.

She's very different than the rest of her society. She's not very trusting or caring because of things that has happened to her before her father ran away with her sister. Her life has been ultimately controlled by the scientists that had developed her powers and also by her over-powering step-father.
