Aragorn x reader

"Oh, come on, (Y/N)! We won't go to far in no wolves or bears are going to attack you!" Aragorn said as he grabbed your hand and dragging you into the forest.

You had never ventured outside Imladris before and frankly you didn't want to but, Aragorn dragged you, literally, into the forest.
You had to admit the forest was very beautiful but yet you still didn't feel the best here. At least Aragorn was with you.

You hiked up your floral green dress as you had to run to keep up with him. "Aragorn slow down!" You pleaded. He stopped and smirked back at you. He picked you up and threw you over his shoulder. "Aragorn," You squealed as you kept hitting his back with your fists.
"Put me down!" You demanded as he kept running.

"I still don't understand why we had to come in the forest when it's almost nightfall." You added as you grumbled hanging from his shoulder. "Because, I have something amazing to show you." He said and you rolled your eyes. The only amazing thing he could show you was the way back to Imladris.

"Just get me back to my room before the moons at its highest." You said. "But that's when it happens you can't go back that soon!" Aragorn said.
"Aragorn!" You hissed as he swatted your bottom. "You're such a pain in the ares, you know that right?" "Yep, but you love me." "Barely." You crosses your arms as you still hung from his shoulder.
"Here we are now all we have to do is wait." He said putting you down on your feet.

You looked around and saw a wistful sight. There was a pond that was crystal clear and a few deer and an elk were gathered around it. Birds flew around the trees and squirrels chattered in the trees. Your fear of the forest almost vanished as you slowly walked over to the deer and elk. The elk approached you making you stiff for a moment, knowing the powerful creature could harm you if you provoke it.

The elk lowered his head and nudged your hand, you lifted your hand and petted his muzzle gently. His strong antlers had marks on it from fights and some had little chips in it. You raised your hand and ran a gentle finger over his antlers.

Aragorn stood behind you smiling at how well the animals took to you. The distant light of the sun shining on your side making you like surreal, well more surreal in his eyes. Your (H/L) (H/C) had an amber glow to it from the light and your (E/C) orbs, though he could not see them he knew, they shimmered and the little (E/C) flakes were highlighted. You earrings that hung from your pointed ears moved in the soft breeze and you couldn't look more perfect to him.

The elk finally grew comfortable with you and he nudged your cheek with his muzzle and you giggled as you pushed him away. The other deer came over and surrounded you. A little bird landed on your shoulder and you smiled as it chirped a tune in your ear.

"They quite like you." Aragorn said as he walked over to you and lifted his index finger as a little cardinal cane flying over and landed on his finger. "You think." You said raising an eyebrow as a small wolf pup tumbled out of the forest and did a summersault until he landed on his chin. He looked up at you and his tail started wagging. He barked softly and all the other animals around you scurried off.

He had a nice white coat with blue eyes and a black tip on his tail. You didn't know whether to approach the little one or not. The mother could be nearby and attack you but on the other hand, what if he was lost?

You waited a moment and there was no sign of the mother. You hesitantly walked over to him and picked the little one up. He smiled in a wolf like way and licked your face causing you to giggle. "Hello little one." You said as you walked back over to Aragorn. "He looks familiar. I've seen him before in these woods before yet his mother or father are never with him." Aragorn notes as he petted the wolf pup's head. "Aragorn, can we keep him? Please?" You begged giving your best puppy eyes. "(Y/N)-" "You said it yourself his mother is never with him." "Fine." 

You squealed and held up the pup smiling. "Imma name you Ismald." You said hugging him. "Now if you can stop gawking over your new pet, and look at the pond you'll see what I wanted to show you." Aragorn added.

Your turned your head and your mouth hung open slightly. Fireflies danced over the water in a pattern and frogs croaked. It was beautiful. "Woah." You whispered. "This is beautiful!" You said leaning on Aragorn.

"Just like you love!" Aragorn said smiling down at you making you blush.

You are back at Imladris and we're sitting on the balcony with Ismald sleeping on your bed and Aragorn sitting beside you. He was holding your hand lovingly as your watched the stars above in the sky. "Maybe the forest isn't so bad." You said and Aragorn smirked over at you. "Told you. So will you come with me more often?" He asked you nudging your cheek with his nose like a dog.

You giggled and pushed his face away. "Maybe, if you stop acting like a child." You said smirking over at him. "Give me a kiss and then I will." He said and you rolled your eyes leaning over and planting your lips on his.

He wrapped his fingers around the back of your neck and titled his head slightly. "I love you." He whispered against your lips.

"I love you too my ranger."
