Patton's POV
I rubbed my arm anxiously as I talked to him, his voice numbing all of my thoughts.
"So what was it you wanted to ask me?" he asked, equally anxious.
"Um...When do you wanna have ummm...our date?"
He was silent for a moment.
"Um....." he scratched the back of his head, "Saturday?"
I had a beaming smile.
"Sounds perfect!" I exclaimed.
"Cool," he said with red cheeks and an adorable grin.
I skipped back to my room to tell a waiting Roman all of the news.
But when I went to my room, Roman was nowhere to be seen.
Weird. I thought to myself.
I decided to start thinking about what to get Virgil for a present.
Virgil's POV
Am I dreaming?
Did I just plan my first date?
Do I have friends?
Does everybody accept me?
Nothing has ever been so perfect in my life.
Well except for the scar on your arm and that all of the dark sides hate you and Deceit declared vengeance.
.....
What? This is my job!
Ugh whatever.
I started to plan my outfit when I heard laughing from Roman's room. It didn't sound like Roman though...
"Roman?" I asked knocking on his door.
It took him a while to answer.
"Yeah?"
"Who's in here with you?" I asked trying to peak my head around the door.
"I'm just watching a comedy. Why are you so suspicious?"
I shrugged, "It's just who I am."
He rolled his eyes but still had a smile.
"So, you and Patton,"
"Yeah," I sighed happily.
"Welp, goodbye!" He yelled before slamming the door in my face.
Weird.
I know right!
Patton's POV
Tonight was the big night! I was so excited I forgot to breathe! I was wearing a white suit with a light blue tie with cats and dogs on along with white pants and black shoes. I had a Panic! At The Disco hoodie for him wrapped in black wrapping paper with stars on it. I had polished my glasses until it looked like there was no lenses in them and combed my hair neatly. I had a huge smile on my face and my heart was beating a thousands times a second.
I knocked on his door but couldn't concentrate on his thumps and crashes because of all of the thoughts swirling in my mind.
To my surprise, he wore a black and purple gingham, long-sleeve T-shirt with black trousers and purple trainers with black laces.
I blushed at his beauty and change in colour. He was holding a blue cat and dog backpack and I was smiling widely. He saw me admiring the beautiful bag and he smiled a smile that made my heart skip a beat.
"You look amazing, Pat," he said blushing.
"So do you," I exhaled heavily realising I'd been holding my breath this whole time.
"I love the purple by the way,"
"Oh, thanks. Please don't tell anyone, I get really nervous about what people think,"
"What about me?"
"I feel safe around you," he said before gently pressing his lips against my own. We broke after a while and he gestured in a funny manner to his door.
"Care to step in, Sir?" He asked in a posh accent.
"Oh why thank you, Sir," I giggled in an equally posh voice.
His room was dark and I had to squint to make out anything. I thought back to the spider curtains and I imagined them seperating from the material and crawling over me. I shuddered at the thought.
He led me over to something, easily seeing in the darkness. He set me down on a chair and pushed me in. Be then lit a candle that smelled of patchoulie and I could see his charming face once more. We were sat right by the....
"Ah! Spider curtains!"
"Pat it's fine! Look," he gestured to the curtains and I saw they were replaced by stars. In fact, as I looked around in whatever light I had, his whole room had changed. It had a much more warmer and welcoming atmosphere and I could see a chance in colour.
