Virgil's POV

Deceit wouldn't let us look for them and that aggravated me deeply. He walked up and got very close to my face and whispered harshly,
"Listen, you might think you're tough and the best thing since sliced bread but don't forget who made you this way. We. Are. Leaving."
I scowled and we walked out of the Light area, it was unbearably warm anyways.
You let him get away.
He's fast, I'll give him that.
You could've ran so much faster than you did.
Bull-
I'm in your head. I know your full capability.
And that was it.
You're sounding like Deceit.
I'm telling the truth!
Sure
You're unbearable!
Tell me something I don't know.
You little-

Patton's POV

I watched them for a while. They were so happy. Why? We're in a war! There's no time for this couple stuff.
"Patton?"
I realised I'd been staring into nothing for a good 15 minutes.
"Hm?"
"Are you alright? He almost got you there bud-"
"He didn't almost get me. Wasn't even close,"
"We were all attacked,"
"I'm fine though," the truth was, my back was hurting immenssly.
"Are you sure? He threw you pretty far,"
"Yes I'm sure!" I snapped.
"Logan can you leave us alone for a second?"
"I don't see why,"
"Please?" he kissed Logan's cheek: I winced. Logan then left the room.

"We're too open with our relationship, aren't we?"
"Why is this important?"
"You miss him, don't you?"
"I have no idea what you're talking about," I said in a petty tone folding my arms.
"Virgil,"
I winced at the name.
"It's okay to miss him,"
"It's not! He's a Dark Side! He plotted to kill us, Roman. A-all of  stuff he said to me, it was all a lie. H-he doesn't love m-me," I broke down crying.
"Pat it's okay," he sent gently.
"I-i-it's not R-Ro,"
"He'll pay for this, don't worry,"
"R-Ro, I really, l-loved him, s-so much,"
"Shhh, I know, that was but a twisted act...." the rest of what he said didn't make any sense. His mouth was just moving.
An act.
The man I fell in love with was fake
History was repeating itself.
I'm not meant to have a special someone.

I'm gonna die alone.

No one loves me.

I yearned for him.

It was unhealthy, insane, but I wanted him more than anything else.

But he didn't want me.

Pat, of course I want you.

Shut the voice out.

I love you more than anything.

It's not real!

You see the good in me

You're all bad! Every bit of you! From your attitude to your origins to your voice! Your sweet, husky voice, and your warm smile......

See? Patton you know this isn't me! Didn't you feel how sincere I was about loving you?!
