Logan's POV
Planning to fight against one of our closest friends was extremely challenging. We had to assign ourselves to multiple sides now, and no one wanted to fight Virgil but someone had to. Unfortunately, that side was,
"Me?!" Patton exclaimed.
"Unfortunately," I replied.
"But why?! Roman's the strongest!"
"Actually, you're the strongest,"
"W-what?!"
"As Thomas' main side, you have a lot more power over Thomas and his decisions, thus giving you more strength," I explained, "plus, you know all Virgil's strengths and weaknesses."
"What if that was just an act too?!"
"We'll just have to trust in what we've got," I said.
He rolled his eyes and sighed,
"Fine." I knew he must be hurting, I know I would have trouble fighting Roman. The miniscule amount of emotions I have are tied and dependant on him. But I could get passed emotions, ignore them, overcome them. Because I would know that was best for Thomas. Patton would have to learn that.
Virgil's POV
"Logan has a thing for Roman, he'll claim he won't let his emotions get in the way but he will. Roman has a thing for Logan, can only focous on one thing at a time and he is terrified of you, Stifel. Morality," I darkly chuckled, "has a thing for me, true, it's ruined, but it's still there, it's just very small. He is terrified of Paranioa, as is Logan, and he's terrified of spiders."
They all laughed and exchanged glances as I told them everything about the other sides. I didn't even feel bad, it was actually quite fun.
Cradil stood hunched over in the corner-God he's annoying. I could see pathetic tears rolling down his cheeks and I walked over to him: all eyes on me.
"What on earth are you crying about now?!" I demanded. He just looked at me, looked at my new appearance, looked at the left side of my face.
Because it's grotesque.
Oh do shut up.
I flashed my eyes in response and he sunk further back into the wall.
"What's wrong with you?!" I snapped.
"Y-you're different," he whispered.
I laughed.
"You mean improved, and if you ask me, you could do with an improvement too,"
He gasped and begged,
"No please!"
I smirked and turned around to see the others staring and Deceit smiling. "Now get over here and be normal," I hissed.
Virgil!
It's no use trying, Bob.
You have to stop this!
I admire your resilliance, Bob.
Why are you doing this to Cradil?!
He's not being what he's meant to be.
What? A side, just like you, just like Pa-
Don't you ever say his name! He is nothing like me! Cradil must be a Dark Side!
Dark Sides aren't made evil! You know that.
Oh you're annoying, how do I get rid of you?
You can't, we've establised this.
I'll find a way.
Doubt it.
"Well then, shall we?" I grinned, gesturing to the door.
"Gladly," Paranioa replied.
"Duh," Stifel said striding out.
Paranioa followed tugging Cradil with him. I turned to Deceit and he was smiling at me. He took my hands and looked into my eyes. I smiled back feeling butterflies form in my stomach.
"I love you," he whispered.
"Dito," I replied kissing him. I smiled as I let go of his hands and strode off.
The cold darkness was refreshing and the breeze soothed me. I stood there for a while enjoying the coolness. I smiled evilly and signalled the others to follow me.
I squinted as I saw the sickening light and the even more repulsive Light Sides. I saw Roman holding Logan's hand, his face dropped when he saw Stifel and he squeezed Logan's hand reassuringly when Paranioa came into view.
