Violence 🤕
Virgil's POV
Your room?!
I-it moved.
It moved! Which way?!
T-to the Light Side.
How on earth-
Ugh, nevermind, I've bandaged myslef now. Time to fight.
Nevermind?! Virgil someone just-
Not now!
I ran over to the group and faced Deceit.
"Virgil, go and find Patton," he commanded.
"I can do mo-"
"Go. Find. Patton,"
I scowled as I walked to the Light Side. I suddenly froze.
"Virgil what is it now?!" Deceit asked impatiently.
Someone was in my room.
"I know where he is," I replied and ran to my room.
Patton's POV
"Virgil," I whispered, "all this time....you didn't tell us,"
"With good reason," I heard a farmilliar husky voice reply.
I flinched and swung my head to face the door way to see Virgil leaning against the door frame folding his arms.
"Hello Morality," he hissed.
"H-hey Virge,"
"Don't call me that," he commanded.
"Alright, Anxiety," I replied. He flinched at the name and I instantly felt horrid for it.
"I prefer just my full name, not an abbreviation nor my purpose," he said.
"Got'cha," I replied.
"So would you care to explain why you are in my room?"
"I....um...."
"No answer? That's fine, I would kill you either way," he smirked. But it wasn't my smirk. It wasn't the cute little smile that sent butterflies loose in my stomach and made my heart rate increase massively. It was a cruel smirk that craved my suffering. I hated that smirk.
"Come on, Virge, I know you don't want to do this,"
"Oh Morality, so naive, you see, I want to do this, in fact, I would love to do this,"
"No, you wanted to be valued as a Light Side,"
He froze then, the glow in his left eye dimming ever so slightly.
"You hate violence because you're scared you won't be the same, you're scared you'll go completely evil and loose your friends,"
He seemed to struggle to get his words out,
"I.....I didn't w-want to loose y-you,"
"Virgil," I whispered, edging closer to him.
All of my common sense was screaming at me that this was another trick and that he could've faked the diary entries. But my heart was so much louder, and my heart told me that my Virgil was still in there.
He snapped out of it then, gripping the hand I reached out to his cheek.
"Don't touch me!"
"S-sorry, I forgot you weren't a fan of contact......except for that time we danced together,"
He looked to me, half furious and bloodthirsty, half deeply sad.
"Do you remember our song?"
He pulled my wrist back attempting to break it.
"I hate that song," he snapped.
"Even the part that-"
He pushed back further.
"Every single bit of it!"
I cried out in pain but I still persued.
"I know you don't want to do this!"
I thought for a moment.
"Bob doesn't want you to do this!"
He froze and let go of my wrist.
"How do you know about Bob?!" he demanded.
"The same way I know that Deceit did this," I held up his arm and pushed down his sleeve to find his scar, "to you!"
He pulled his arm back and traced the veins.
"Virgil, I know you don't want to do this, you never chose to be....." I stopped myself from saying dark, "evil, and I know you're not evil,"
He looked at me with a hopeful twinkle in his eyes before scoffing,
"All Dark Sides are evil,"
"We're all sides of Thomas's personality, no one is evil,"
He turned to face me properly.
"Y-you don't know what you're saying, I'm e-evil,"
"Would an evil person give me the scrapbook I fill in every day? Or a bag I use all of the time? Or a photo frame I have hanging right above my bed? Or a CD that has the most beautiful and special song to me on it?"
His eye dimmed further.
"Virgil I love you so so much, you're not evil at all, in fact, you're the nicest person I know, I don't care if you're a 'Dark Side', that doesn't mean you are evil- not one bit,"
