When we reached the warehouse, we let Rick out of the car around the back and drove around to the front. Daryl got out in the front and walked around to make sure no one was hiding.

Daryl came back around and instructed to leave the car running. I jumped out and sat on the hood. Daryl stood in front of me with his hands on my legs.

"There's someone coming." Daryl nodded toward the road.

A tan truck came flying up and stopped beside the car turning the engine off. Daryl raised his bow at the people.

Andrea climbed out and caught my eye looking worried. Daryl shouted "what the hell? Whys your boy already here?"

"He's here?" Andrea asked shocked walking inside the building.

"Put those guns down." Hershel shouted. "If things go south in there we'll be at each other's throats soon enough."

Daryl put his bow down and walked back over to me putting his hands back on my legs not looking away from the other two men from Woodbury.

Hershel walked over to the one in glasses and sat down talking to him. The other one was pacing back and forth not taking his eyes off Daryl.

"Do you have a problem?" Daryl snorted.

"Not really." The man chuckled. "Just wandering how long it'd take for me to steal your girl:"

"Come try." Daryl growled.

"Immaturity looks bad on you boys." I snorted. "But you're welcome to come try." I looked at the stranger and smirked.

The sound of the door squeaked open and Andrea came walking out looking annoyed.

I kissed Daryls head and jumped from the car and sat down beside her. "What happened?" I whispered.

"They kicked me out." She scoffed.

Walkers started snarling and Daryl and the man decided to have a competition. Andrea and I followed them to watch. When they wanted to argue about who could go first Andrea stabbed the Walker. She shook her head and walked off.

"Enjoy your competition." I laughed waving.

I climbed back on the hood of the car and leaned on the windshield.

Daryl and the other guy must've finished their contest since they were standing around talking to each other and smoking. They'd look over at me every so often and smile.

The door to the building opened and Rick and the governor exited. We all climbed into our vehicles and went our own ways.

*********

When we got back to the prison Carol and Carl were waiting for us. Night has become to fall.

"So?" Carol asked.

"Not here. Let's get inside." Rick muttered.

We all entered the prison and waited for Rick to talk. It felt like a life time.

"I met with the governor today." He began. "He wants us gone, he wants us dead. He wants this prison for himself. We're going to war."

Rick looked at Hershel who was shaking his head then walked off.

"War?" Carol whimpered. "How can we protect this whole prison ourselves?"

"It's near to impossible." I said shaking my head. "But if we leave we'd be risking our lives either way."

"You mean we'd be risking ours. You're almost indestructible." Carol retorted.

"There are things that even I can't overcome Carol."

"I'm sure that's not true, but I don't want to find out." She sighed walking away.

I walked out into the big room where everyone was seated eating dinner that Beth had made. Rick was with Hershel and Daryl talking. I sat beside Maggie and Glenn and laid my head on the table.

"What's bothering you?" Maggie asked.

"I don't know." I sighed. "Everything...nothing."

"That makes no sense." Glenn laughed.

"My memories are floating back." I frowned. "I had a brother."

"That's good news." Maggie smiled. "At least you'll know who you are, eventually."

"That's the problem. I don't know if I want to remember." I frowned.

"Allison?" Rick called.

I got up and walked over to him and sat at the table in front of him. "Yea?"

"I'm taking Carl and Michonne out tomorrow for some supplies. Think you and Daryl could hold things together here?"

"Yea." I nodded. "How long will you be gone?"

"We have two days before we meet with the governor again." Rick nodded. "So just for tomorrow til dark."

"So what'd he really want?" I asked cocking my head.

"He wanted Michonne." Rick sighed rubbing his forehead.

"We can't do that." I shook my head. "Even if we did can you guarantee our safety anyways?"

"He promised he'd leave us alone." Rick nodded. "We have to consider it."

"No we don't." I argued. "That's a slaughter and  he could easily turn and kill all of you. I'm not risking it."

"We may not have another choice." Risk scolded.

"We all have choices. It's not right for you to put this on us or even sacrifice another human being. You're not god and neither is he." I growled. "I'm not doing this. I'm not risking all of your lives, either way he wants war and us gone."

"She's right Rick." Hershel whispered. "We can not play god and gamble on her life or ours."

"Let's just get through tomorrow and see how she does. Then we will make a decision." Rick nodded before walking off.

I got up and stomped up the stairs to my bed. I really didn't want to be around anyone right now. Rick made a decision to give up and not fight for what is his. I will refuse to give up another human being, it isn't right. If I came to the choice to sacrifice Rick for the better of these people, I would in a heart beat. He may have saved me all this time, but it will be me  to save the rest of this group.

Zeb came trotting up the stairs and laid his head on my legs.

"I'm ok boy." I leaned over and scratched his head.

He licked my hand with his big tongue and walked back down to where Judith was sleeping. At least one person is safe in all this.
