It took a while for negan to leave the factory to head back to Alexandria to return Carl home.

I found sherry in a stairwell smoking a cigarette.

"Sorry, I'm almost finished." She whispered taking another drag.

"It's ok." I said leaning against the wall beside her. "Your sherry, right?"

She nodded her head "I am. I assume Dwight told you about me."

I nodded taking her cigarette from her taking a hit "I'm his sister. And I have a plan for you to be free." I smiled.

She looked both shocked and relieved. "That would be great."

I handed her a piece of paper and gripped her shoulder "Dwight May be changing but his orders will be to bring you back. It's better this way."

"Your right." She frowned "thank you."

I left her alone in the stairwell and headed for the closet space Daryl was. A guard was standing at the end pacing.

"What're you doing here? And without Dwight?" He asked raising his brow.

I shrugged playing the stupid card "I seem to have gotten lost."

He chuckled "where do you need to be?"

I stroked my chin thinking "actually, here." I pointed to his shoes.

When he looked down I spun behind him breaking his neck. I grabbed his keys from his pocket and unlocked the door.

I offered my hand to Daryl "let's get out of here."

He took it without hesitation and helped me move the guard into the closet. We walked down the hall until we heard voices.

He grabbed my arm pulling me into an empty room. Tiny wooden soldiers were laying out looking freshly shaven. "Dwight's room." Daryl answered picking one up.

"This place is a joke." I sighed sitting on the bed.

Daryl picked up a shirt and put it on. He found a pair of jeans and even a pair of boots. He pocketed a wooden soldier and ate a thing of peanut butter.

When the voices past, we made our way out to where they kept the bikes. The one he built didn't specifically need a key so he started it with no problems.

Part of me wondered if Dwight had a plan of his own to let Daryl go. It couldn't be a coincidence he wanted this bike.

I pushed it to the back of my head. We drove through the gate and kept going non stop.

We came up to another gate that was wooden and climbed off the bike.

It opened and exposed a tearful Maggie with Zeb in tow along with Sasha, Harley and Enid.

She pulled Daryl into a tight hug before actually noticing me behind him. She let him go and grabbed me.

"We're ok mags." I whispered rubbing her back. "I'm so sorry."

She grabbed me leading me inside the gates while Daryl pulled his bike inside.

"Where is he?" Daryl asked.

Maggie nodded "Come on."

She led behind a large brick building where two graves were dug. They had flowers and balloons to mark them.

Daryl knelt down placing his hands on both before crying. "It's my fault."

"No it's not." Maggie said kneeling behind him "it's negans."

I couldn't stand to look at the two people who meant so much to me buried so I walked off to be alone.

"welcome to hilltop." a familiar voice boasted behind me.

"jesus." I acknowledged withouthout turning to face him. "thank you by the way."

He sat beside me on the bench letting out a sigh "alexandria is always welcome here." he looked at me for a second before turning away "i wouldn't blame you if you wanted to kill him, you know."

I laughed slightly "i don't think anyone would."

"maybe just his closest advisors." he chuckled along with me "hell, they'll get over it."

"i doubt that." I sighed. "glenn and carrot top back there didn't deserve this fate."

"no, they didn't." He agreed "but sometimes things happen, and we can't do anything about it..." he paused "well, not all of us, but you can."

"Don't be puttin stuff her in head." Daryl muttered sitting on the other side of me.

"im pretty sure she has it in her own head." Jesus chuckled getting up "im around if you need anything."

"we still didn't get to talk about that reverse crap." Daryl whispered wiping his eyes.

I shook my head "im not gonna do it."

He grabbed my hand "im with you, whatever it is that you want."

"i can't change, not until the people we love stop dying."

He chuckled slightly "that may never happen." he let out a deep sigh "you may have risked your brothers life all for me."

I shook my head again laughing "i hardly know him, you are way more important to me."

He leaned in giving me a kiss before someone cleared their throat behind us. "i need to talk to Allison." Sasha said frowning.

Daryl looked between both of us before nodding and walking off.

Sasha feeled the empty space beside me rubbing her face "im sorry, about before."

"its fine. I get it, you were upset." I grabbed her hand squeezing it "I'm sorry about carrot top."

She let out a small laugh shaking her head "he really liked you. You always made his day with the carrot top."

"Let's go write carrot top in the dirt on his grave. Maybe he will laugh, wherever he is." I smiled.

She chuckled nodding her head "I say let's do it."

"Would be considered rude to do that though?" I cocked my head to the side.

"Not to him. He'd like it." She laughed.

I nodded and walked back to his grave with Sasha in tow. Picking up a stick I knelt down and scribbled carrot top forever, carrot top always.

On Glenn's I wrote g, a father and husband. I didn't wanna write anything funny to disrespect him or Maggie. Glenn was different then most. He was so caring and loving, he loved Maggie to death and was most excited to be a father. He never got the chance. All because of negan.

I must've started getting mad by the broken stick in my hand and Sasha rubbing my back to calm me down.

"You've got to calm down and breathe." She whispered.

I dropped the stick turning to face Sasha bringing her into a hug "I'm sorry." I whispered laying my head on her shoulder.

We sat in silence for a while. Not sure how long, but it felt like forever.
