We were over half way to the college, a raisin broadcast came on. 'Terminus. Those who arrive, survive.'

"Wait." Michonne said. "Go back. What was that?"

Daryl leaned forward and tried to turn the radio back and forth trying to find the station the broadcast was coming from.

"Look out!" Ty yelled.

Daryl looked up and we started swerving and hitting waves of walkers. We finally stopped. The car was being swarmed.

"What now?" Michonne asked looking out the window.

"I can clear a path to the woods." I offered.

"Too dangerous." Daryl said shaking his head. "We all go together."

"But, Daryl." Michonne began. "She can do it."

"No. And that's final." He growled.

"You know what?" I said. "Fuck this." I opened the door and jumped out. I cleared a path enough for everyone else to get out and run for the trees.

When the rest joined me behind a tree, we didn't stay for long until the hoard was working its way into the woods.

"Where's Ty?" Michonne asked looking around.

"He was right behind us." Bob responded. "I'm going back."

"No." Daryl growled. "Either he's coming or he's dead."

"Wait." I whispered. "Listen."

The bushes started shaking. Ty broke out of the bushes with walkers following. He fell to his knees and Daryl and Bob had to half carry, half walk with him so we could make it out of there.

*******

We made it clear of the walkers and found ourselves at an abandoned car work shop. We cleared away brush from a mini van, but it wouldn't start.

"It needs a battery." Daryl said pulling some wires.

"There." Bob pointed to the building behind him. "Maybe they still have some."

"Good idea." Daryl nodded. "Let's go see. You three stay here and clear some more brush away."

Me, Michonne and Ty nodded and started clearing more brush to clear a path for us to leave. Ty was still upset about Karen, and it must be on his mind. He was swinging like a maniac and hit a walker, he tried to pull it out of the brush but it had a hold of him too.

"Let it go, Ty." Michonne yelled.

"No." He growled still pulling.

I walked over and stuck it in the head with a sword shaking my head.

"Why'd you do that?" He barked.

"I'd rather see it dead, then you." I said.

"I had it." He frowned.

"No you didn't." Michonne sighed. "Go sit down."

"You had no business doing that." He said shaking his head.

"When someone in this group is being an idiot and trying to get themselves killed, it is my business." I growled. "You miss Karen, we get it. But don't throw away your life. Do you rreally think she'd like that?"

"I guess you're right." He nodded. "But what about Michonne? She's been out there everyday looking for the Governor."

"Michonne has a reason. He's still alive, and if he is...then he could come back at anytime." I shook my head.

"But we don't know that." He frowned.

"Maybe not, but it's a risk she thinks is a good one to go and look." I nodded. "But no more Michonne. It's not worth your life either."

"I guess you're right." She whispered. "Let's just finish this."

We started cutting away more brush. Someone hit something hard and walkers started pouring into the brush.

"We got it." Daryl yelled. "Lets go!"

We stopped fighting and clearing and jumped inside the van taking off.

We finally made it to the college. It looked clear from outside, but inside was a different story.

"Ok, we split up and grab what we need and get out." Daryl said with a nod.

"Let's get this over with." I said walking to the door peeking inside. "It looks clear from here."

"Open it slowly." Michonne said inching closer drawing her sword from her back.

I opened it slow and Michonne walked inside. Bob followed her then ty. Daryl stopped at the door and looked mad.

"We're gonna talk about this later." He grunted walking inside.

"Sure thing...dad." I said rolling my eyes following him inside.

Michonne, Bob and Ty took off into a classroom while Daryl and I went to another. We grabbed a bunch of medicine and whatever that would be useful.

"Do you hear that?" I whispered stopping in the door frame. "There's some in here."

"I hear em." Daryl whispered peeking around the corner. "Let's get the others."

We ran down the hallway and into the room where the others were loading stuff in their bags.

"We gotta go." I whispered. "Their coming!"

They grabbed their bags and we ran back into the hallway looking for a way out until a hoard came from behind us.

"Their sick." Bob whispered. "Just like the prison."

"Don't get any of the blood on you or in your eyes or mouth." Daryl said covering his mouth with his shirt.

"Hey!" Michonne shouted. "Stairs over here."

Ty broke the chain and another small hoard started exiting. We took out the front so Daryl could break the window.

"Let's go!" He yelled.

We jumped onto an awning and started to run. But when bob jumped he about lost his bag and refused to let it go.

"Just let it go bob!" We yelled.

He managed to grab it back and slung it up in front of Daryl spilling a bottle of alcohol. Daryl was furious. He picked it up about to throw it.

"Don't." Bob said frowning reaching for his gun.

Daryl didn't care, he walked up to bob and growled at him. He took bobs gun and pushed the bottle into his chest. "You take one sip when these mess hit our people, I'll beat your ass." He growled. "You shoulda kept walking that day."

I stopped and waited for bob to move. "Why?" I whispered.

"It's just for when it gets quiet." He frowned.

"It will never be quiet." I whispered walking away from him.

We made it back to the van and threw everything inside the back and jumped in speeding down the road back to home.
