I never made it back to Alexandria. Everything was calm there for now. I walked the streets trying to clear my head and decide on a normal life or this; whatever this is.

Maybe until the world is fixed, I'll stay this way to protect my family. Even if I turn off and into something I probably shouldn't be.

A sound ringing in my head had me stop in my tracks. It didn't take me long to process what this meant, I just ran back Alexandria.

When I arrived the horde Ricks group was suppose to lead away was now pressing against our gates. There was no way through. The best option would be to scale a wall of a building and jump. Or I could try to fight my way through, but I wouldn't make it with this many.

Before I made a decision, I took out a needle and a bottle of the black serum and shot it into my system.

"Now or never." I muttered. I took a few steps back and ran as fast as I could and leaped off the ground. It's like I was flying. I landed on my feet on the other side of the gate with people looking at me.

"Where did you come from? The gate is crawling with walkers." Spencer asked looking me over for any bites or scratches.

I removed his hands from my body. "I'm fine."

"Allison, welcome back." Deanna said smiling. "Could you maybe take care of that mess out there?"

"No she can't." Carol interrupted. "Sorry Deanna, but there's some things that even she can't overcome."

"Oh, well that's ok." She sighed. "What do we do?"

"Sit right and wait for rick. He may know." I muttered. I hoped he knew what to do. I couldn't do all this alone.

Spencer's and Deanna disappeared to somewhere else, maybe checking on people. I didn't really care.

"Where have you been?" Carol asked tapping her foot looking worried.

"I had business to take care of."

She was shaking her head "What business?"

"I killed my birth mom." I shrugged walking around her. "And don't tell me she didn't deserve it." I kept walking until I entered the infirmary where Tara had Harley. "How is he?"

Tara looked up at me smiling "he's great. How is it out there?"

"Walkers are coming to the gate, sooner or later it'll go down."

She lay Harley down in a small basket in the corner beside zeb. "I'll go see if they need help and wait for Rick."

"You ok to keep an eye on Harley, Denise??"

"Yea. It's fine, he's a good baby. Plus zeb is here if anything happens."

"I'll be back for him soon." I promised. I hated leaving him with strangers, but I had no choice. Daryl's out there, and since I can't die, I have to be out there helping others.

I walked around the streets and up on top of the tower looking out at the undead that surrounded us.

"Allison!" Someone shouted from the ground.

I jumped off the tower and landed in front of Rick. "Your back."

"Yes." He shook his head. "It won't be long now until they break the gate down."

"Do you want to start moving people inside their homes?" I asked pointing to the crowded street.

"Get the old inside, and the young. Where's Carl?"

"I think he's still at home." I raised my brow. "I'll go put the oldies and youngies away."

"Thank you."

I walked off to each house and made sure all the old folks were locked up tight and made sure they were upstairs where no one could hear them if they moved.

Next I made sure all the young kids were inside their homes upstairs as well. It took longer than I'd have liked.

"Spencer!" Tara yelled from the front gate. "What are you doing?"

I jumped on top of the tower and looked down to see Spencer trying to escape to the other side, the damn fool. The rope broke and he slung down hitting the metal gate. Rick caught him barely and tried to haul him back over.

I jumped down and helped rick drag his dumb ass back over. "What is wrong with you!?" I yelled.

"I wanted to help." He shrugged. "I thought I could make it."

A loud crack and the gate falling made us all jump with worry. Walkers began coming in flooding the streets.

"Run!" Rick yelled.

While I fought some off, it allowed the others to run for their homes or somewhere safe. When they all vanished indoors I jumped to the roof and stayed put.

I couldn't do much but watch as the walkers came in. It was nothing but a huge wave of the undead grey beings. Too many for me to handle alone.

Maggie was stuck in small tower beside the wall. She was laying down being quiet. I could get to her, but it's draw too much attention and she needed to be safe. She just snuck back in before the wall went down. I know she wants to go find Glenn since everyone else came back that was with him, but he didn't.

I could jump down and try to clear a whole for her to run towards the infirmary or I could at least get her higher.

I couldn't do it. I couldn't risk her getting hurt. Now what do I do? Think Allison!

I did one thing I probably shouldn't have, I jumped from the roof into the horde. I needed to make it to my son. My mind was racing I didn't even think to jump from roof to roof.

I needed fire.
