The trip to Alexandria was a long one. It'll take about a day and night depending on how often we had to stop.
"Maybe I'll find some answers here." Eugene said sitting down across from me. "Some that can help you."
"Maybe." I reached over and squeezed his hand. "Thanks for trying to help."
"I am still looking over your files. But if there's another smart person there, I'll have help." He chuckles nervously. "I need to have a look at your brain."
"My brain?" I raised my brow.
"See if they put anything inside there. Maybe a chip. You're technically government property."
"I never though of that." I shook my head. "Is it possible, maybe?"
"Could be." He nodded. "I'll never give up on you though until I crack this case wide open."
"Thanks Eugene."
He looked past me at Tara and his cheeks grew red. "You like her don't you?"
"She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." He looked back to me and smiled. "No offense, you are hot."
"No offense taken." I laughed. "But you do know she's a lesbian right?"
"I do know that. And it is heartbreaking." He chuckled nervously.
"We have to stop. This damn battery light popped on." Abraham sighed pulling off the side of the road.
"I can fix it." Glenn stood up opening the door. "Pop the hood let me see."
I followed behind him and studied his face contently. "You know how to fix it?"
"It just needs to run on a new battery." He nodded. "I learned from a man, Dale. He died before we left Hershel's farm. He was a good man, you'd have liked him."
"You two were close." It wasn't a question just an observation of the sadness on his face after mentioning him.
"He was like a dad." He nodded. "A very wise man."
"I'm sorry." I squeezed his shoulder. "Must be tough."
"It is." He frowned. "Let's fix this before any walkers start popping up."
I helped him get tools to disconnect the battery and replace it with the spare the RV had. When we finished we hopped back on the RV and drove on down the road.
"Guys look." Rosita shouted pointing out the window. "We made it."
I stepped back into the back of the RV and sat beside Aaron on a small sofa. He looked over at me concerned. "Something bothering you?"
"I've been here."
"What do you mean?" He raised his brow.
"I mean, I think I use to live here. I always thought I was from Atlanta but I have memories of walking in front of the White House. It's complicated."
"So you're remembering things." He shrugged. "We will all help you find peace, Allison." He grabbed my hand. "My door will always be open to you."
"Your always welcome." Eric sat up smiling. "We will do something fun."
"Thanks." I smiled. "I just wish I could remember my other brothers name. That's still missing."
"I'm sure you'll remember." Eric whispered reaching for my other hand.
I squeezed their hands and walked back up front and curled up beside Daryl's side. He was staring out the window at the city with amazement. He's clearly never went anywhere in his life.

We finally made it to a huge wall. And Aaron walked up front helping Eric.
"Ok, we are here." He smiled. "If everyone will leave their weapons down or holstered."
We climbed from the RV and gathered around the gate waiting for it open.
"Open up!" Aaron shouted. "We're back!"
The gate opened and we were met by a young man who looked curious as to who all the new people were. "Hi guys. Glad you made it back." He slid the gate open for us to pass through.
"Aiden can you see that he makes it to the infirmary?" Aaron asked handing Eric over to another younger man. "Ok, and the rest of you. Deanna will want to speak to you individually to get to know you a little."
"Who's Deanna?" Rick asked confused.
"I am." An older woman walked up smiling. "Welcome to Alexandria."
"I'm Rick."
"I know who are." She smiled. "Now what order should we go through?"
We all pointed to Rick and laughed at his face. "Why me? Why not her?" He pointed back to me.
"I'm saving the biggest for last." She winked at me. "Let's start with you, Rick."
Rick followed the woman into a beautiful two story White House. He looked back us and glared.
"The rest of you please follow me to weapon lock up." Aaron waved.
He took us to another building and a woman came out with a cart. "Just lay your weapons down and we will keep them locked up. You can check them out anytime when you leave the walls."
Daryl lay his bow down and stepped back, Sasha threw her sniper and knife down glaring at the woman, Glenn and Maggie lay their weapons down, then carrot top, Rosita and Carol went last. Zeb was smart and threw himself on the bottom the cart.
"He's cute." The woman said looking at Zeb. "Are you a weapon?" She bent down and scratched his head.
Zeb nodded his head and purred.
"Zeb you knucklehead get off the cart." I laughed.
He looked back at me and walked back to my feet and sat down. Daryl latched Harley back onto his back and scratched his head where he liked it most. I walked forward and lay Ricks gun and knife down so the woman could take it back inside.
Daryl wrapped me into his arms kissing my cheek. "Are we allowed to explore a bit?"
"Yes." Arron said nodding. "We have you two houses if you'd like for me to take you to them now or we can wait until Deanna is done with the interviews."
"We will wait." Carol smiled. "We would like to just walk around and explore for a bit."
"Of course." Aaron nodded. "I'll wait for you here."
We walked off as a group and explored some the place we would possibly be staying. It look magnificent.
