I broke from the group after they left to look for Aaron's boyfriend Eric. I found him laying in a field holding his foot.

"You ok?" I knelt down beside him.

"My ankle." He winced. "I think I broke it."

"Are you Eric?"

"I am. Where's Aaron?"

"He's with Rick. He's ok. I promised to help you." I looked up to see walkers approaching us. "Do you trust me Eric?"

"What?"

"Do you trust me?" I asked again.

"I've seen what you can do, so yes." He nodded.

I grabbed him tossing him over my shoulder and jumped into the trees. I held him as tight as I could without hurting his foot. I kept jumping until I seen the RV driving down the road. I jumped onto the roof making them stop.

Daryl came out and helped me get Eric inside onto the bed. "He hurt his foot." I whispered to Maggie. "Your close enough to know if it's broken."

"I'll take a look." She nodded walking back to Eric.

"Guys, their swerving bad up here." Abraham shouted.

"Turn left here!" Eric shouted. "This road is t clear of walkers."

Abraham followed Erica directions and drove until we found a water tower with building surrounding it. We parked the RV and went inside a small building. Daryl helped Eric into the back. Maggie wrapped his foot up and made him comfortable.

"Here." Eric took out a flare gun. "Fire it. They'll see it."

I took it in my hand and ran outside and shot it up into the air. It sizzled then fell. I hope they seen it. Eric even took it young himself to tell us all about his community and where it was. He wanted to get home where it was safe. He wasn't the fighting kind.

It was a good hour before Rick, Michonne, Glenn and Aaron barreled through the door.

"Where's Eric?" Aaron asked worried.

"Aaron?" Eric yelled from the back of the room.

He took off running in that direction. He thanked me before disappearing. Rick followed after him to see who the other person was. When they came back from the room leaving Eric, Rick turned to Aaron.

"Your sleeping separate from him."

"Rick, that's enough." I growled. "We know where the community is. Eric told us. And that's his family, and I'll stand in the way of you trying to hurt them."

"Ok." Rick frowned rubbing his forehead. "I'm sorry, I'm just trying to protect mine."

"I understand." Aaron nodded turning to me. "Thank you for keeping your promise."

"Don't thank me yet." I shook my head. "We have to see this place for ourselves before we commit to staying."

"I get it." He nodded. "I'll thank you later then." He chuckled softly before going back to be with Eric.

"What promise?" Rick looked at me raising an eyebrow.

"To keep Eric safe."

"You knew?" He growled.

"I did." I nodded. "He trusted me."

"She has a big heart." Maggie glared at Rick. "Nothing wrong with that."

"No there isn't." He shook his head. "You did good."

Everyone found a place to lay down for the night. They ate and fell asleep. I sat beside the door keeping watch while Zeb curled up with the little ones.

Early morning came and everyone begun to stir awake. Aaron had Eric on his feet helping him walk without cause too much damage to his foot.

"Here." I handed Aaron a bottle of aspirin. "Found these, they may help his pain."

"You're so kind. Although you still terrify me." Aaron chuckled taking the bottle. "Thank you."

"I terrify myself."

"We have some good equipment in Alexandria. Maybe the doctor there can help Or Eugene there can hook some stuff up and see what to do about your blackouts." Eric smiled.

"I can do something." Eugene nodded.

"Thanks guys." I sighed sitting back down. "We are all about ready to leave as soon as carrot top decides to get up."

"Why carrot top?" Rosita laughed behind me. "It's the orange hair isn't it?"

"Exactly why he is carrot top." I shot her with my finger laughing.

"Who cares." Sasha walked by.

"Ok, you know what?" I jumped to my feet pinning Sasha to the wall. "Just because I can do more than you, than any of you! It's not my fault bob died, it's not my fault ty died, it's not even my fault Beth died!" I growled. "I can't protect all of you. If I could I would! So stop with your shit! If you want all of this I will find a way to give it to you and see if you do a better job at it." I released her and walked away.

Feet shuffled behind and a sigh escaped from rositas mouth. "We know it's not your fault all of this is happening. Sasha will get over it, in time."

"Maybe." I shrugged. "If not, it's not my problem."

"No, it isn't." She agreed. "But the rest of us have faith in you. We care about you. And we have your back."

"We have barely talked, but thanks." I wrapped her into a hug.

"Now, let's get ready and go." She chuckled letting me go. "I'll get carrot top up."

She did just that. She slung her bag on top of him making him grunt. "What the hell?"

"Sorry, time to go." Rosita snickered picking her bag up.

"She put you up to this, didn't she?" He sucked in a breath pointing at me.

I raised my hands. "Not my idea carrot top." I laughed.

"I'll get you for this." He laughed throwing a piece of paper at me.

"We will see." I laughed walking outside where Rick was.

"You good? Ya know after the hole Sasha thing?" Rick asked leaning against the RV crossing his arms.

"I'm good. Just tired of her shit."

"You have every right to be." He nodded. "Climb on board. Zebs inside in the back with Eric and Aaron."

I climbed onto the RV ignoring Sasha as I passed. I sat at the table across from Carol and Carl who were looking a little worried about me. Daryl got on and sat beside me putting arm over my shoulders. But no one said anything so I stared out the window waiting to leave this place. And hopefully at Alexandria I won't have to see Sasha as much.
