I woke up when I heard a gunshot go off in the distance. I don't know how long I was out or anything. I jumped up and grabbed my jeans that were washed and dried and threw them on.

"Carol?" I yelled walking through the house. "Ty?"

"In here." Ty called back.

I walked inside the living room and seen ty staring out the window crying. Judith was laying beside a new baby, my baby.

"What's going on?" I groaned sitting in an empty chair.

"You were out for two days. Things happened." He sniffled. "Lizzie killed Micah. She- she wanted her to turn. She was gonna do the same to them." He pointed back to the babies. "Carol took Lizzie out there and shot her. She had no choice."

I got up and walked beside him putting my hand on his shoulder. "I'm so sorry." I whispered.

"It's not your fault." He muttered.

The door creaked open and shut. Carol walked inside and sat down rubbing her face like she has been crying. I didn't know what to say or what to do except hug her. We could sit here for hours in silence if that's what she needed. She loved those girls like they were her own. And after already losing her own, I know it hurts.

After a while, Carol decided it was time to bury the girls. Zeb stayed inside the house with the other two little ones while I helped them. It was sad to bury two small bodies. It was horrible.

By night fall, Carol was making some roasted pecans for the trip tomorrow and boiling some water for her and ty and for baby bottles. If we were going to make it to terminus, we had to be ready.

"It was me Tyrese." Carol sighed.

"You what?" He asked confused by her confession.

"I killed Karen and David." She slid him a gun. "If you want to kill me, go ahead."

Ty looked at the gun then back to Carol. "No." He slid it back. "I've been mad for too long, I wanted to kill you for so long. But I forgive you."

Carol sobbed and took the gun back. "Get some rest. We will leave in the morning." She turned to look at me. "You too."

"I e been out for two days and all this happened. I'm not resting anymore." I refused. "I'm healed, I'm ready."

She nodded her head and walked away. It took ty a minute to move but he finally did. Since I e been awake I never got a good look at my sons face. Looking at him now, he looks so much like Daryl. He's perfect. He's beautiful and he's mine.

As soon as ty and Carol woke up, we gathered everything we had and started on our journey towards terminus. We wasn't that far from it honestly. Just a few miles away.

"Do you think they all went there?" Ty asked.

"If they seen the sign then yea." Carol nodded. "But honestly it might be too much to wish for."

"It could be a trap." I added. "Better to play this smart. Scope it out first."

"There's a small shed." Carol pointed. "Let's stop and feed these kids."

"Wait." I held my arm in front of her. "Someone's there. Zeb, trees."

We jumped up into the trees trying to get a better look at this person. He was outside lighting fireworks and on the radio talking about the cop, the archer, a kid and a samurai. That's when ty and Carol drew their guns pointing them at the dude on the ground.

"Tie him up." Carol ordered. "Take him inside, bring the radio."

They drug him inside and shut the door. They know I'm here if things go sideways. So now I just have to sit tight and wait. Zeb was already on the porch laying by the door.

When it opened Carol had a wrap and two guns. She knew something. I jumped down in front of her. "What's happening?"

"Terminus is a trap. I'm going to get them. You and Zeb stay in case this is a trap too." She nodded. "I'll bring Daryl back to you and your son."

"His names Harley." I half smiled. "And I want you to be his godmother."

"Of course." She nodded giving me a hug. "I'll be back soon."

I waved her off and sat down beside Zeb scratching his head. Now we just wait a little while longer. Hopefully everything will work out.

It's I'd say been about an hour or so when Carol left. Nothing has happened yet. Ty was inside with both babies and a man tied up. But I know he knew he was safe and those kids were.

A loud explosion sounded and smoke rose over the tree tops. Ty appeared at the window looking weirded out. Until his eyes met mine.

Then I heard him. "Don't." He warned. "That's a bad mistake."

"I'll snap both these kids necks man. You think I won't?" The other guy yelled. "Open the door and walk outside."

"Ok. Your death has been signed the moment you touched them." Ty shrugged opening the door.

Zeb growled and rushed in and lured himself down beside the babies watching the guy closely. I stood at the door with swords drawn.

"Touch my son?" I growled. "Too bad you missed me." I smirked.

"Allison. Take those in." Ty whispered. "I'll handle it."

"Don't kill him. Not yet." I growled.

Ty walked over and beat the guy until he was knocked out. "We will tell Carol I killed him. I can't kill him."

"It's ok that you can't." I whispered. "I wouldn't. He looked terrified enough." I chuckled. "Grab Judith, let's go outside and wait. She should be heading back by now."

We grabbed the babies and walked outside closing the door behind us. A huge group of people were walking up the road following Carol. Even some new faces.
