Zeb and I always stay awake walking through different blocks making sure everyone is fine through the night. Tonight though, was different.

When people started screaming I was the first to arrive in block it was coming from. People were running from walkers. People that lived here.

I drew my swords as Zeb took on his armor. We went through and took out some walkers while the people that had guns fired at more.

Soon after Rick and Daryl ran in with Carol, Maggie and Glenn following behind.

When all the walkers were dead and everyone was cleared of no bites, Daryl searched me for any marks or scratches or anything.

"I'm fine." I muttered.

"Just checking." He whispered. "What happened?"

"I don't know. I heard people screaming and walkers coming out of cells. These are people that live here, their not from outside." I explained. "Someone inside must have been infected."

"Over here!" Carol yelled. "The kid."

"He was fine earlier." Daryl muttered.

"No bites, no scratches. He was sick." Rick examined the kids body. "He choked to death on his own blood."

"What could cause this?" Maggie asked.

"Some kind of flu maybe." Rick answered. "Is everyone clear?"

"Yea." Daryl nodded. "All clear."

This morning was rather calm besides two people that were sick. We ordered strict bed rest until we could figure this out.

Daryl was taking a group out to scavenge some more supplies. Of course I wasn't allowed to go.

"Quit pouting." Daryl laughed. "It's for you and the baby you can't come."

"But I can." I whimpered. "I'm tired of being cooped up here."

"Babe, please." Daryl begged. "Stay here. Make sure nothing else happens."

"Fine." I rolled my eyes.

"You're cute when you do that." He chuckled leaning in to kiss me.

The whole time we have been together, we never once said I love you to each other. I didn't want to say it first so I had to constantly bite my tongue.

He took his group and drove away. He won't be back til almost night fall.

"Do you smell that?" Rick whispered.

"It smells like something is burning." I plugged my nose.

"Come on." He grabbed my arm running towards the smell.

Tyrese was standing over two burnt bodies. Karen's and another man who I knew as David.

"What happened?" Rick asked.

"I just found them like this....my Karen." Tyrese said through tears. "Someone did this."

"And we will figure it out." Rick nodded.

"And what? Just send them packing?" Tyrese growled. "No! You find who did this and bring them to me!"

"They will be punished. Not killed, we don't do that." Rick argued back.

"Like they deserved to die?" Tyrese shouted.

"Of course not." Rick shook his head. "But we can only figure this out if we work together."
