We made it back to the prison in one piece, thankfully. We let Rick out at the gate with Carol. He had to tell her Daryl had left. When him and Carol made it through the last gate rick stopped in front of me.

"I did t know about you and Daryl or I wouldn't of said anything about Carol." He frowned.

"It's fine." I shrugged turning around. "It's done." I walked inside the prison and noticed a few new faces. I wasn't in the mood to stop and chat so I walked to the cell door. "Open up."

A woman walked up to me and introduced herself as Sasha. "When can we meet your leader?"

"Don't ask me." I shrugged. "I could care less."

"You don't have to be rude." A skinny man shouted.

I growled at him and walked closer to him. "I do. I don't know you."

"Allison!" Hershel shouted.

"Better listen to the old man girl." The man spat.

I was about to draw a sword but Beth grabbed my hand. "Let's take a walk."

Before I walked off with Beth I heard Hershel whisper to the four strangers that they needed to be careful. When they asked why, he didn't answer.

Beth walked me into the cell and sat me on her bed. "They may not be staying, you need to be careful." She whispered.

"I know." I nodded. "I lost my cool."

"Hey ladies." Axel walked in and sat down. "How are you today?"

"I'm going out there, I need air." I sighed getting up. "Axel?" I stopped in front of him. "Touch her, I slit your throat."

I was sitting in the big room trying to breathe while Rick spoke to Hershel about these people. The woman Sasha seemed nice, the others I'm not sure about.

"What is that!?" The skinny man stood up on top of the table pointing at Zeb.

"You were here this whole time and you haven't seen him yet!?" I scoffed. "It's a tiger."

"No shit, but why is it here?" He shouted.

"He's mine." I laughed.

Zeb growled at the new comers and followed Beth back into the cell.

Rick made his way from the cell with Hershel and everyone following except Beth and Zeb.

"This is Sasha and Tyrese." Hershel said. "Those are friends of theirs."

"How'd you get in?" Rick asked.

"Through the back fence, its down." Tyrese spoke.

"Why did you come here?" Rick asked raising his brows.

"We've been running for a long time, we needed someplace safe to lay low." Sasha frowned.

"No." Rick said.

"Rick, you have to learn to start trusting people." Hershel said.

"No." Rick shook his head. "No. We tried with the prisoners, you seen how that went."

"Please." Sasha begged. "We can't go back out there."

Rick was about to say they could stay until he started talking to himself like a lunatic. So we had no choice but to send them away.

After the group left, Rick took off down to the pond and hasn't returned.

Glenn was on the War path over what happened to him and Maggie. I understand that. I would be to.

Hershel was trying to talk some sense into Glenn to keep him from doing anything stupid while Rick was losing his mind. But Glenn wouldn't listen and drove off anyways.

I helped Hershel down the hill so he could talk to Rick.

"When are you coming back up?" Hershel asked.

"I...I have things out here...things." Rick stuttered.

"You have to come back sometime." Hershel said. "Glenn is going down the wrong road, Rick."

"Then you take charge." Rick pointed to Hershel.

"Why don't you come inside and we can talk." Hershel nodded.

"I-i need to stay here. Just a while." Rick muttered.

Gunshots started so I pushed Hershel to the ground to keep him hidden. A truck was driving straight towards the gate not stopping or slowing down.

It crashed through, the back fell and walkers poured out filling the yard. Hershel pulled my leg making me fall. Gunshots were everywhere but I couldn't see who was shooting.

"Get him out of there!" Rick shouted.

I jumped to my feet and got hit with bullets. In the shoulder, in the chest, the arms and legs. I fell to my knees trying to catch my breath.

"Allison?" Hershel whispered. I fell over and blacked out.

***********

I woke up inside the prison with Maggie hovering over me with Carol. I turned my head to see a needle with the black serum, it was all gone. The last drop was swarming through my blood right now.

"Oh thank god." Maggie whispered. "Rick! She's awake!" Maggie screamed.

Footsteps shuffling came to a halt in front the cell I was laying in. Rick came in and grabbed my hand. "I'm so sorry." He whispered.

"It wasn't your fault." I groaned. "It was mine. I wasn't thinking."

Daryl stopped in front the cell door looking inside. "How is she?" He asked.

"Come in and see for yourself." Rick chuckled.

Daryl came closer and kneeled beside Carol. I looked down at him and back to Carol. Maybe their meant to be together, not me and him. I'd let them be if that's what they wanted.

I sat up, swinging my legs over the bed. "How'd I get back up here?"

"Glenn." Maggie whispered. "He stopped and got you and my dad."

"You should be dead." Hershel was standing at my door frowning. "That serum just saved your life."

"Why won't you just let me?" I frowned. I climbed to my feet almost falling but I caught myself. I walked past the whole group and through the cell.

"Oooh she's awake!" A man yelled. "Hey baby."

"Shut up Merle!" Daryl shouted chasing after me. "Allison, wait."

I continued walking all the way outside. Daryl of course followed me all the way out there and stopped behind me. "Please talk to me babe." He whispered.

"I think you said enough earlier." I shrugged. "Carols more important to you. It's fine, I get it."

"But carols not the one I want." He was growing angry. "Look at me, Allison."

I turned to face him frowning. "What?"

"I've been in love with you since day one." He shrugged. "I don't feel this way easily."

"Neither do I." I shrugged looking at the ground.

He grabbed my hand and cupped my face with his free one bringing me into the kiss he wanted.
