It's been two days and everyone has been busy re building the fences bed putting safety procedures in place in case we had visitors during the second meeting with the governor.

"Have you seen Merle and Michonne?" Rick knelt beside me and muttered.

"No. " I shook my head. "I think Daryl was the last to see Merle."

"I'll go find him." He muttered standing up.

While Maggie, Glenn, Carol and Hershel are all inside loading all the guns with ammo Rick brought back yesterday, I'm sitting outside enjoying the sun. We all need to make a decision on what to do about Michonne. As far as I knew Rick said if we decided not to take her to the Governor, we were going to miss the meeting and leave.

"You ok?" Maggie snuck outside.

"I am. Just needed to think." I nodded.

"Wanna talk about it?" She sat beside me grabbing my hand.

"I'm fine. Really." I chuckled. "You're like my best friend."

"Yes I am. You're family, and I'm always gonna be here for you."

"That means a lot." I nudged her with my elbow. "Also, I need to talk to you and Hershel."

"About what?" She raised her brow.

"It's a secret. Can you go get him for me?"

She nodded her head and walked back into the prison.

I can only think of how to explain this to them. I'm not sure how, I'm not even sure how it's possible.

"Ok. We are here." Maggie exclaimed sitting back down.

Hershel climbed on one of the picnic tables. "What's wrong?"

"I don't know how to explain any of this." I began. "But I feel something right here." I pointed to my stomach. "I feel it growing, and moving."

"You mean a baby?" Maggie asked.

"Yes." I nodded. "I think I may be pregnant."

"Dad, is it possible? And to tell this early?" Maggie asked looking at Hershel.

"Could be. She is different." Hershel nodded. "Maybe go on a run later on and see if you can find a test and see if that works."

"Lori had an extra one." Maggie said nodding. "I have it."

"Then take her inside and let her test." Hershel said.

Maggie grabbed my hand and pulled me inside the prison and to her bunk. She dug through her bag until she pulled out a box of pregnancy test.

"Here." She handed me a test. "Now use the toilet. I'll close the door and keep watch."

As soon as the cell closed I through a blanket over it so no one could see inside. I undid my jeans and sat on the cold metal toilet seat. I made sure to hold the test in the line of the urine. When I finished I called Maggie back in.

"Ok. We have to wait I think three minutes." She explained setting it on the table.

We sat in awkward silence for the three minutes we were waiting. Maggie was pacing while I was chewing on my fingers.

I got up and lifted the test. "What? How?" I flipped it to show Maggie. "It's positive."

"You're still human, but I don't know how this is possible." Maggie sighed. "You have to tell Daryl."

"I will...eventually." I sighed. "I don't know the first thing about being a mom."

"You'll be ok." Maggie wrapped me into a hug. "You have me, my dad, Beth, all of us."

"Hey." Rick called from the door. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing." I said stuffing the test into my pocket. "What's up?"

"It seems Merle took Michonne to the governor. Daryl went after him." Rick explained with a frown. "I'm afraid it might be too late."

"I'm sure it's not." Maggie nodded.

"Well, we're having a meeting. I need to come clean." Rick said turning and walking away.

Me and Maggie looked at each other than followed after Rick to outside the prison. Everyone who was still here was seated at a table. Maggie and I joined the group.

"I need to come clean." Rick began. "Some of you know when I went to meet with the governor he offered a deal. He'd leave us alone if I gave him Michonne. I was going to, but I can't. But it seems Merle took it upon himself to go and make this deal." Rick frowned. "I'm afraid it may be too late. So now we have to make a choice to stay and fight or leave. Because he wants all of us dead."

"We can make a plan, Rick." I offered. "We leave, at least in his eyes. I'll make it to where their stalled on the road which gives us time to leave. If Merle made it there already, it won't be long before they come here."

"You may be right." Hershel spoke up. "It's a good plan."

"Then let's do it." Rick nodded. "Go ahead inside and get the stuff together. I'll be a second."

We all got up and walked inside grabbing bags and started throwing all of our stuff inside them. Rick burst through the door followed my Michonne.

"Oh my god." I ran up and hugged her. "We thought it was too late."

"He let me go." She explained.

"Where's Daryl?" Rick asked.

"He went the rest of the way to see if he could find Merle." Michonne frowned.

"Alright." Rick nodded. "Let's get these bags in the cars."

"Are we leaving?" She asked confused.

"We have a plan." I shook my head. "I'll fill you in as soon as we load these up."

*******

The bags were loaded and I explained the plan to Michonne. She had no problem with it.

Daryl made it back in one piece. Now I just have to find the right time to tell him. But he's so upset right now. He told us his brother didn't make it.

"I'm sorry about Merle." I sat beside him on the steps placing my hand on his.

"I just wanna be left alone." He mumbled jerking his hand away.

"Yea." I frowned getting up walking away.

Carol rubbed my arm and walked with me outside. I'll just have to give him time and space. In the morning we have to leave.
