The streets were too much for me to make it to the infirmary. I chose to sit on a roof watching all the dead continue to flood through the broken down part of wall.

The sun had set only an hour ago and no one was stirring. Only a few were dead so far, their screams forever burned in my head. I'd failed them.

I hung my head and waited for more screams, but none came. A gun shot rang out. I jerked my head towards the sound, I didn't see anything so I ran from the roofs to see what was happening.

Rick has Carl picked up in his arms cradling him, running towards the infirmary. This wasn't good news, it was bad. Another soul I'd failed.

How can you live with yourself when all you do is fail people who mean so much to you? Simple, you kill and kill, all for them. You turn into a monster when you can't help people that are so much different than you.

Jumping from the roof landing in the middle of a horde might not be the best choice, but it was all I could do. My anger grew and rose until I felt absolutely nothing. I couldn't fail anyone else.

Sinking my blades in the skulls of the undead that surrounded me, I felt better, stronger.

Rick burst through the infirmary door and started to help me clear the streets. Soon after, what is left of our group in the community came to aid as well.

Even Sasha came to help stuffing something into my pocket. "It's your juice." Is all she said before taking out few walkers approaching her side.

"There's too many!" Rick yelled taking down a few walkers only to have more approach.

"We need fire!" Rosita said to me. "Allison?"

I stepped back into the center of the circle and tried to concentrate on flames, but nothing happened. "I don't know how to just bring them on." I said.

Gun shots rang out in the distance. I looked closer and smiled seeing Glenn in the small tower with Maggie.

Out of no where the lake caught on fire drawing the walkers into it.

"Who did that?" Rick asked confused looking at me.

I shook my head. "Not me."

"Work your way towards the fire! Draw them in!" Rick yelled running through the horde firing his gun into the air.

We all followed his lead taking out a gun or two and fired them into the skies running towards the flames. A truck came into view and the fire burned brighter.

"It's been a few weeks since the wall went down." Rick muttered.

"Yes, It has. Deanna wasn't wrong, this is just the beginning of this place." I half smiled. "Maybe we should build something to honor her and reg for what they built here."

He nodded his head starting to walk away "We will."

A few weeks wasn't enough time to mourn our lost people or even replenish our supplies. Though in those few weeks, a lot of good happened. Me and Daryl finally got married, thanks to Gabriel. Denise changed a wolf. He ended up saving her life at the loss of his own.

"What are you doing over here?" I didn't even notice he walked up behind me until I felt his arms wrap around me.

"Thinking." I answered.

"About?"

"Deanna. I want to do something over here for her. Something to remember her and reg. Maybe even Noah and the others we have lost."

I felt his head bob. "We will." He kisses my cheek. "We are about to leave. Just wanted to make sure you were ok."

"I'm fine." I turned to face him. "Please be careful."

He held up his button Eugene made for him and chuckled. "Got ya on speed dial."

"Then I'll go help carol out with whatever she can tell me to do." I laughed walking away.

Opening the door carol was cleaning up in the kitchen. She didn't hear me but jumped when she seen me. "You scared me." She chuckled covering her heart. "They leave?"

"About to. Their just finishing getting their gear together." I answered with a nod. I climbed up into a stool and spun myself around several times before she stopped me.

"Your making me dizzy." She laughed sitting beside me. "Zeb is upstairs with Harley, Judith and Carl."

"I know I've been distant from Harley, and I know I shouldn't be. At least I'm glad he has you."

She grabbed my hand and squeezed. "Go spend time with your son. Everything is fine here right now."

"The people Daryl told us about, the ones he killed out there. What if they find us though? I have to be ready."

"Your always protecting us. It's time for some you time, go, spend a little time with Harley. Get to know your son."

I nodded my head and got up. "Thanks mom."

She chuckled throwing her dish towel over her shoulder. "I'll be here if you need me."

I walked up the stairs to where Harley was. Carl had Judith sitting up in the floor playing while Harley was laying on his stomach watching her. Zeb was laid out under the window seal where the sun was shining and Carl was watching a movie.

"What are you watching?" I asked leaning down lifting Harley up.

"Some random old Disney movie michonne found. Aladdin. Judith likes it so might as well watch it." He laughed. "Do you have toothpaste? Michonnes been asking around for some."

"I do. In mine and Daryl's room."

It got quiet for a while. I held Harley close to my heart, where he would stay. Everything was better with him here. And I'd never let anything happen to him.

Looking at Zeb, I knew he wouldn't either.
