I haven't been to my bed once. I was giving Daryl space he wanted. So I sat outside all night watching the stars and the sky. It was calm and peaceful until everyone poured out of the door .
"Were you out here all night?" Maggie slid on the table beside me.
I nodded my head and frowned. "I was."
"You feeling ok?" She asked concerned.
"I'm fine." I sighed rising to my feet.
Rick told Daryl of the plan so he was sitting by his bike making sure he had his stuff. He was crying a little bit.
Carol walked over to him and I stood still listening.
"Merle was such a hard head." Daryl chuckled a bit. "Stubborn son of a bitch."
"He gave us a fighting chance." Carol explained. "And Allison? She's trying to be there for you. Let her."
"I know she is." He frowned. "I'm just not use to all this."
"And you think she is? She doesn't remember anything, but she remembers you." Carol explained.
Carol helped Daryl to his feet. I grabbed my bag from the table and walked past them taking it over to Ricks car throwing it inside.
"Allison." Daryl muttered. "Ride with me."
"I think I'll go with Maggie." I nodded.
I turned and started walking away until he grabbed my hand. "Please." He frowned. "I don't wanna push you away."
"That's impossible to do." I shrugged. "I just want to give you space."
"Don't need it." He shook his head.
I nodded my head and walked with him to his bike and jumped on. Everyone else loaded up inside the cars and we left the prison. We drove around the road and cut off into the woods beside the prison and got out and waited.
**********
"I hear something." I whispered. "It's time."
A sound of an explosion in the distance rang out through the woods.
"Yea, I hear it too." Rick nodded. "Their here."
"So what do we do?" Carol asked.
"Hershel and Carl stay here, protect Judith. Fights in there, Zeb you're coming with us." Rick explained.
"Zeb should stay here with them, Rick. Just in case." I argued.
"You think some will break off and run through here?" He asked.
"I do. And if they do, he needs to be here." I nodded.
He agreed. "Ok, let's move then."
"Maybe you should stay behind too, Allison." Hershel said.
"Why?" Daryl grunted. "We may need her."
Hershel looked at me then back to Daryl. "Then be careful."
I nodded and we walked forward to the back of the prison where the breach was. We took down the walkers that were close and made our way through the maze like hallways stopping in the darkness to wait for the governors people to come forward.
