Going home or NAH

I awoke to the smell of pancakes and bacon. The boys must've cooked breakfast! I thought but then I remembered two things,

1) the boys can't cook that well

2)I'm at Drew's house.

I got out of bed and threw my hair up into a ponytail and walked downstairs to see Drew's mom cooking.

"It's smells delicious in here Mrs...." I trailed off.

"Thank you and just call Trudy dear" Trudy smiled.

"So how's your family doing?" she asked me.

"Ok I guess, some of them were released from the hospital last night." I told her sadly.

"Why do you sound so glum? You can go see your family again!" She cheerfully said.

"The thing is, I don't wanna see them again, I ran away from home" I confessed to her.

"Why would you do that dear" she asked me clearly confused.

"Have you heard of the Magcon boys before?" I asked.

"Yes I have, them and their unidentified daughter were all over the news last night." She said.

"I'm their daughter, and all I'm doing is bringing harm into their lives, so I ran away to protect them. They are in the hospital because my ex parents tried to kill me but they stood up for me" I explained to her.

"That's what family's do honey, they stand up for one another no matter the price. They're there for you through thick and thin. Now you need to be there for them." she said to me.

I guess she's right, I do need to be there for them. We are a family and family's stick together.

The image of all the boys hurt popped into my brain again. What if something bad happens again? What if they get hurt because of me again?

I have made up my mind, I'm going to go home.

I ate my breakfast and thanked Trudy, before I grabbed my things and left.

I made my way down the street and back to home. I stopped walking in the middle of the driveway and took out my phone to call Taylor with.

After two rings he picked up.

"What do you want Serenity?" he asked harshly.

I was taken aback and couldn't form the right words.

"I um w-w ahh um" I stuttered out.

"Spit it out already!" He yelled.

I was devastated, hurt, sad but most importantly angry.

"I was calling to say I'm home but I don't think I'm going to be here much longer! Bye!" I yelled back and hung up the phone, fuming.

I saw a light turn in in the upstairs window of Taylor's room and then he threw his curtains back to see me standing in the driveway.

I could hear him yelling at the boys to wake up, because I came home but I was already walking down the road again.

Taylor ran out the door and to the end of the driveway he looked right first and didn't see me then he looked left and spotted me.

By now some of the other boys were awake and standing with Taylor watching me leave again.

Jack G who was limping a bit tried to run after me but he was easy to outrun.

"Serenity come back! please? let's talk about this!" Taylor yelled.

I ignored him and kept running with the warm summer morning air hitting my face.

I knew the would hurt me.

I just knew it!
