I scurried down the steps, holding onto the railing as I went. I was adjusting to this new found heaviness my body wanted to throw at me.
When I arrived in the kitchen, Oswald and Mickey were already seated at the table. Mickey was reading the paper, and Oswald was calmly drinking his coffee.
"Others not awake yet?" I asked, reaching up and rubbing my eye. I was tired again from my small walk down the steps.
"Yeah, you know how they are." Oswald replied with a small smile on his face. "Me and Mickey made breakfast, but if you're craving something else have at it." He explained, picking up his mug again.
"No I'm not really craving anything at the moment." I replied sitting down. The past month had been full of new cravings and emotions, so I understand his reasoning.
"Than dig in." Oswald pushed a plate full of eggs and sausage towards me. I gladly took it and began to eat. You never realize hunger until you are eating for six people. It was becoming exhausting I'll admit.
Oswald watched me eat my breakfast with an adorable look of love on his face. He tended to do this more, maybe because it was nice seeing me taking care of myself? I'm not sure though.
"What's with that goofy grin?" I asked, my mouth full of eggs. It wasn't the most attractive, but I didn't have to be attractive for Oswald.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Oswald replied sarcastically, the grin still plastered across his face.
"The one you're wearing with such pride." I teased, poking his cheek with the back of my fork.
"Just the look I make when I'm looking at the love of my life." Oswald replied smoothly, almost making me choke.
"Oswald were at breakfast." I remimed, my face burning with a blush probably so bright it's as deep as cupheads pants.
"I'm quote aware." Oswald stated, leaning back in his chair. "That doesn't mean I can't flirt with my husband does it?" Oswald asked, lifting up his left hand to flash the ring.
"Well....I guess not, but it's still embarrassing." I looked down at my empty plate to keep my eyes away from his beautiful blue ones.
"I'll leave you two love birds alone." Mickey chuckled, finally speaking up after being at the table for quite some time. He got up and left for the living room.
"Now were alone. May I flirt with you now?" Oswald asked, a smug look written across his face.
"Me saying no isn't going to stop you either way, so what was the point in asking?" I replied smiling and leaning towards him.
"I must say you have a point there handsome." Oswald leaned in as well and than our lips met and we were kissing. It was a short sweet kiss, one that made my oxides melt.
Than I felt something move inside of me. I froze, pulling away from oswald. I was so confused, so clueless as to what it was, than it hit me.
"Felix?" His voice brought me back into reality. The realization washing over me.
"They kicked." Were the only words I could say. I was overwhelmed with joy, and surprise.
"You felt a kick?" Oswald asked, his ears perking up with happiness. They were so cute sticking straight up.
"Yeah I believe so." I looked down at my stomach, patiently waiting, than I felt it again. "Yeah I did!" I looked up feeling amazing. "Come here" i motioned him to come over.
Oswald quickly hopped up and came over to me. He got down on his knees, placing his hands on my stomach. We waited there a few minutes before another kick happened.
He looked at me, his eyes practically sparkling with pride and joy. "The babies." He stated, a smile slipping onto his face.
"Our babies" I corrected, a smile finding it's way onto my face as well. And then we're kissing again.
