//when you said you'd update weeks ago but you didn't\\
As always, this author's note is completely optional. Read if you want to hear about my schedule.
Hey guys.
Guess who's not dead. That's right, Sammy! I am back (maybe?)! School and various extracurricular activities make my life super busy, and I am so sorry for not posting lately. (*Cough* 3 months *cough*) Anyway, first things first. Thank you all so much for reading this book! I recently reached 130K reads! And 200 followers! 3K votes! 1K comments! Thank you so much! I am incredibly grateful to everyone who has read, voted, commented, added this story to their reading list, etc. I love writing this story (shocking, I know) and I'm always glad to see that there people who love my writing. And thank you to everyone who has went above and beyond and read the other books I've written. I'm really sorry for not being active at all, and one of my New Year's resolutions is to be more active AND have a more steady schedule. I'm going to try to update all of my books (besides oneshots) at least twice a month. I hope to get to the point when I can update weekly, possibly even twice a week. But if not I am promising that I will try to get out at least two updates a month. I'll also be updating a lot in January to make up for my complete lack of existence for months. I actually have a few questions at the end of the story as well, so if you would like some more input on things that will be (hopefully) happening, answer those at the end of the story. So, thank you again for all the support, and enjoy the story!

Y/N had hoped that Helen would've been humbled by losing both her brother and her advantage.

She didn't.

In fact, she seemed even cockier then before, despite the fact that she was tied to a horse and being pulled along while Meliodas and Y/N chatted idly on said horse. They mostly ignored her annoying complaints.

"Where are you taking me?"

"When are we going to get there?"

"Can I have some water?"

"I'm tired."

Y/N glanced over her shoulder and said, "Be quiet or we won't stop."

"That's not even fair!" Helen snapped. "I'm not a criminal!"

Both Meliodas and Y/N looked at her in disbelief.

"Okay, but I didn't murder anyone." Helen reiterated. "I'm not a terrible person."

Y/N sighed while Meliodas said, "Yes, you are."

"I'm not as bad as your little lady friend there, she's the one that you should be wary of." Helen said.

Meliodas looked at Y/N, confused and curious. "I mean, you never explained what happened with that soup..."

Y/N breathed through her teeth and stopped her horse, turning towards Meliodas. "Okay, how do you propose we do this?"

"What do you mean?" Meliodas asked. "Should I be fearing for my life?"

Y/N rolled her eyes. "Well, do you just want an explanation, or do you want a demonstration? There's multiple different ways we could-"

Meliodas cut her off. "Okay, okay, okay! I get it. Just... explain." He paused to think for a bit. "We can set up camp here while we're at it." Y/N nodded and hopped off of the horse. Helen cheered and sat down on the ground.

"Ah, hey Meli can you bring me some water?" Helen asked, stretching against the horse. Meliodas ignored her, instead offering the bag of water to Y/N. Helen whined while the Y/N and Meliodas continued to set up the camp. Y/N would occasionally glance at Helen and roll her eyes at the complaining detainee.
