"Ellie, slow down!" Y/N shouted to her younger sister, who was racing ahead of her.

"It's not my fault you're running as slow as a snail!" Ellie yelled back, slowing to the pace of her elder sister. Y/N groaned in exasperation and trudged on despite Ellie's taunts. "Hey, why are we going through the woods, anyway?" Ellie randomly asked. "We usually just walk through the town."

Y/N rolled her eyes. "It's because of that rumor going around time, remember? The one about the monster rampaging through these woods?"

Ellie paled, laughing nervously. "R-Right, of course. But, those are just silly rumors, so we can just go back and go through the town..." She said, tugging gently on her sister's arm. Y/N turned around, looking at her sister.

"What's gotten into you? It's our job to protect this town, so rumor or no rumor, we need to patrol the woods if we here of a monster rampaging in them. Not to mention it would be a huge waste of time to turn around and walk all the way back to town."  Y/N scolded. Ellie grumbled but continued on.

As the sisters walked through the woods, the sun sank lower and lower in the sky, until it was barely visible. Y/N started whistling quietly, careful not to draw any attention to herself. Suddenly she tripped over a rock, gasping. "Ugh, Ellie? Can you help me- EEK!"

~Y/N's Perspective~

I shot straight up, panting. It took me a minute to realize that I wasn't in the woods near my hometown, but I managed to recognize my surroundings as Meliodas' bedroom and slow my heartbeat down to a normal pace. "Uh, Y/N?" Meliodas asked, alerting me that he was awake as well. "Are you... Alright?"

"Good morning to you, too." I grumbled, stretching my arms over my head. "And yes, I'm fine." I tell him, hopping out of bed to grab my uniform.

"That's great!" Meliodas replies enthusiastically. "Now, could you possibly help me out of these ropes?" He pleads, earning a glance. I roll my eyes, walking over to untie him. Afterwards I step out of the room and walk into the closet to get changed.

Hawk, Elizabeth, Meliodas and I meet up in the dining room, as usual, and wait for Ban. While we're waiting, I decide to start cooking breakfast and get to work in the kitchen. I hum as I move about the kitchen, cooking up some eggs, turkey, sausage, and cake. I also chop up some fruits and vegetables. After I'm done, I take it all out to the dining room and pour everyone some (non-alcoholic) cider. I even take a barrel full of cider and a large omelet and roll it out to Diane. Before walking back into the tavern, I take a second to look at the view.

A few moments after me, Ban comes in, asking for a drink. "A little early, don't ya think?" Diane asks him while Meliodas gets up to get him a beverage.

"Would you like to have some breakfast with us?" Elizabeth asks Ban, standing up to get him an extra plate.

Ban motions for her to sit down. "You don't expect me to eat the Captain's awful cooking, do you?" He says while grabbing a bottle spiraling towards him.

"Actually, Y/N cooks the food around here." Meliodas tells his comrade, smirking. "You don't expect me to pass up Y/N's food, do you?' He says, mocking Ban's tone from earlier. Ban's eyes light up as he turns around, setting his bottle down.

"Y-Y/N cooked?" He asks, grabbing my unused plate and piling food onto it before scarfing it down.

"Woah, save some for me, Fox!" I exclaim, tugging the plate of cake away from him. "I need to eat, too!"

"Why are you excited about Y/N's cooking, Ban?" Hawk asks, trotting over to my side.

"Y/N's food is delicious, but she hardly ever cooked it back when we were still considered Holy Knights." Meliodas explains, since Ban's mouth is stuffed with eggs and turkey. I sigh and pick at the leftovers, dumping them on to my plate.
