Epilogue

~Y/N's Perspective~

A rumble shakes the palace that I stand in. I spin around, looking through the green lights float around the room. Were we seriously being attacked? While I was releasing Ellie's soul?

"Hey, Y/N!" A voice calls out from the window. 

"Meliodas?" I ask. "What do you want?" I lean out the window to see him dangling on a rope ladder hanging on the side of Hawk's mom. 

"We're leaving today!" He shouts. 

"What? Why didn't you tell me sooner?" I question, gathering up my skirts and crawling onto the window sill. 

"Just jump, I'll tell you in a second." He says, gesturing towards me. 

I roll my eyes, but comply. I fly into his arms. His grip is strong, and he holds me in place. I look at him expectantly. "I wanted to have a romantic moment." He explains. 

"I see." I reply, chuckling a little. "I guess warning me would ruin the fun." 

He nods, and we begin to climb up the ladder. When we reach the top, I see that Elizabeth is there. "Oh, Elizabeth. I see we've already kidnapped you." 

The Sins laugh. 

"We would've picked you up first, but Meliodas said that you had something to do first." Diane explains, pulling me up. 

"Yeah, I kinda did." I say. 

"Y/N!" Hawk squeals, jumping onto my shoulder, where he's taken to sitting since he shrunk. 

"Hey, Hawk." I greet. "Did you really miss your balcony that much?" 

As he protests, Ban walks over, bag swung over his shoulder. "I'm leaving for a while." He states. 

I narrow my eyes at him. "Where to, Fox? The fun hasn't evens started yet."

"That's why I'm leaving." Ban replies just as sarcastically. "Don't let the Captain get killed while I'm gone. We still have a score to settle." 

I roll my eyes as he jumps off. King flies off after him, shouting complaints. 

"Never a dull moment with you guys." Merlin remarks. 

"That's true." Meliodas says. "Hey Merlin, I still have questions regarding that night ten years ago." 

Merlin smirks. "That's a long story."

Meliodas smirks back. "That's alright, cause we have all the time in the world."

At night, I kiss Meliodas on the nose and whisper, "Good night, Meliodas."

"You know, I wanted you to call me by my name, but now I can't get used to it." He says, pulling me to him.

"Well, you better, because it's not going away." I say, cuddling into him.

"I think you don't get it." Meliodas says, pushing my chin up so that I can meet his eyes. "Every time you say it, I feel overwhelmed with joy. I just can't get over the fact that you're mine."
