Episode 1 - The Eight Deadly Sins

~Meliodas' Perspective~

I place the many cups of beer on the table and scoff as I walk away from the customers and into the kitchen. "Why does everyone think that I'm to young to be a tavern owner?" I ask as I pick up the food that Y/N's been baking in the oven. "Well, you are kind of short for a adult." She replies and starts cleaning the dishes. I grumble under my breath and carry the pie out to the others. I walk out just in time to see someone running into the tavern, shouting about some rusty knight. I resist the urge to roll my eyes. Instead, I welcome him in and listen as he and his buddies talk about the seven deadly sins. I turn my attention away from the conversation and pour some beer for another customer. 'Just another day in the Boar Hat '

Not long after we all hear a odd sound coming from outside the door. I look up from polishing the cups to hear Hawk saying something and then suddenly someone in old rusty armor appears. They mention the seven deadly sins and then stumble in, throwing everyone into a panic and soon it's just me, Hawk, and the rusty knight in the tavern. I hop over the bar and walk up to the knight, wanting to make sure that he wasn't some sort of Holy Knight, trying to draw out the rest of the eight deadly sins. "Now who are you?" I ask the knight. It stumbles forward a bit and then falls backwards, making it's helmet roll off. Hawk and I both gasp in shock. "This kid is one of the seven deadly sins?" Hawk asks of the young person who was evidently wearing the suit. I'm abut to respond but I hear footsteps approaching. "Hey Captain, I was cooking some more steak when I heard the customers yelling. Is everything alri-" Y/N stops short when she sees the person laying on the floor. "What happened?" Y/N exclaims as she rushes over to the fallen knight, making sure that it's still breathing. I explain the events to her as she nods slowly. "Okay. She doesn't seem to be in any severe condition so we can take care of her ourselves." Hawk and I pause in our tracks. "She?" We ask simultaneously, causing Y/N to roll her eyes. "Just help me get her up to my guest room so that I can get her out of this suit." 

After we get up to Y/N's room, she tells us to wait outside while she gets her undressed. A moment later she opens the door back up and tells us to watch her while she gets her a glass of water. Hawk and I step in to see a very pretty young girl laying in Y/N's bed. "She's a girl, definitely." Hawk says to me, affirming that Y/N was correct. "Lets make sure." I respond, and begin examining her despite Hawk's protests.

~Y/N's Perspective~

I walk back into my room to see the girl awake and Meliodas squeezing her breast. I sigh and place the tray with a glass of water down on a table. Before I can do anything to stop him, Meliodas turns away and says some nonsense about how her heart is beating just fine. She thanks him timidly, making me sigh again. "Oh, Y/N. You're back." Meliodas seems to notice me. I roll my eyes, signifying that he should pay attention to the girl. As he starts to answer the girl's questions, I walk down the stairs into the kitchen, preparing some food for the poor girl. 

A few moments later Meliodas and the girl walk down to see two plates of freshly cooked meat on the table. The girl walks over to the wanted sign and looks at for a bit before Meliodas calls out to her. As she turns, I notice her earring, which looks oddly familiar. I frown as I watch her eat my cooking, wondering where I could of seen that earring before. I look up to see the girl crying, and Meliodas questioning her about the suit she was in. I sigh quietly and continue washing the dishes. I listen in on their conversation, just so that I could get a hint to where that earring is from. "I'm on a personal quest... To find the seven deadly sins." I pause for a moment, wondering why the girl would want to find us. Hawk asks the same thing, but before she can answer, we hear a knock on the door, and then a voice demanding for us to let them in. They suddenly say that they are under the Holy Knight's, and I gasp. Meliodas shoots me a questioning look, but doesn't press the issue. Elizabeth looks rather startled at the mention of the Holy Knights, and I frown, making sure to keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't run off. Meliodas and I have this taken care of. We hear them arguing. Meliodas goes up to open the door and I scoot closer to the girl, not trusting her to stay put. Just as I suspected, as soon as the knights seem occupied with Meliodas, she bolts out the tavern door into the woods. I of course follow. I hear the shouts of the knights behind us, and I sigh for the millionth time that day. 'I knew that they wouldn't miss us.' I think and speed up to keep the girl in my line of sight.
