What is it, Patton? (Logicality)

-Third person POV-

Logan was in his room studying his vocab cards. One of them caught his attention: 'Ship'. He had wrote this one down after Patton asked what it was.

As he kept studying that specific card, he heard a knock on his door.

-Logan's POV-

Who could possibly be at my door at the moment? I didn't really want to be bothered, however, I did not want to seem rude.
"Who is it?" I ask. Shortly after, I hear Patton's voice from the other side.

"Hi Logie!!" He says. 'Logie'? I swear, the nicknames he gives me and the others...

"What is it, Patton? I am currently learning slang terms. Is this an important issue?" Okay, that might have been a little on the rude end, but it's just how I tend to communicate with others.

"Oh, well, uhm, I just wanted to talk to you, that's all..." He says. That's funny, I could have sworn his voice mildly trailed off just now...

-Patton's POV-

I was feeling a little lonely, so I went to go talk to Logan. I don't know why, I just get super happy around him. But, it sounds like he's busy. Why does that make me upset?

"Talk to me? Pray tell, what about?" I hear Logan say. Gosh, I just love how smart he sounds, and he always dresses so nicely. Oh dear. Have I fallen for Logan??

"Um... I... Uh... " I can't seem to form words. Why? I could talk fine a minute ago...

"Patton? Are you alright? Do you need aid?" He's such a caring person, even though he doesn't like to show emotion. I can hear it, though. The slight changes of tone when he's concerned or sad. Wait, is he worried about me?

"Patton? Would you like to come in? I'm unlocking the door."

I hear the door unlock and I freeze. Oh, no. He's staring at me. Why does my face feel hot?

-Logan's POV-

I open the door to see Patton standing there in an.... Almost shocked manner.  Why is he acting so strange? And his face seems to be pigmented red, as well. He was blushing. Why is he blushing?

"Patton? Do you need to sit down? Why don't you come in." I say. I am starting to become concerned. Patton almost never acts like this. Finally, he opens his mouth to speak.

"Hi Logan! S-sorry about that, I j-just get sort of silly sometimes, y-ya know?" Okay, now he's stuttering. I have reason to deduce that Patton is nervous.

-Patton's POV-

OH NO! Why am I stuttering?! Just talk like you normally do, Patton!

"Patton, what's wrong with you? Are you embarrassed about something or-"
"NO! No, no no! Aha.. Why would I be embarrassed? I'm only talking to the most perfect person ever."

"Patton, we've gone over before how no one is perfect. Not even me. Remember how I misused 'infinitesimal'once?" YES! I do remember that!

"Y-yea..." WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!

"Alright, enough. Patton, what is on your mind?" He expects me to be able to tell him? I don't want him to hate me...

-Logan's POV-

Now I'm very concerned. Patton is acting very unusually. I hope he's not depressed or hurt.

"I-it's just... Um... I have a c-crush on someone... A-and, I don't think they like me back..." Oh, dear. I do not know how to handle emotions. Especially not when it's Patton. He's the cutest little-

Oh. Is that what someone with a 'crush' would say?

"...Well, why do you assume they do not reciprocate the feelings?" I ask. Now I'm curious as to who Patton could be infatuated with.

"Th-the person I like doesn't really... U-understand emotions very well. B-but, I know he feels them! I can hear emotion in his voice even if he doesn't show it." Patton rambles. Wait-

'Does not understand emotions very well." that sounds like me... Wait, does Patton like me?

"Patton, don't assume your chances to date this person are verisimilitudinous. They might return your feelings."

He slightly slumps, then says, "But every time I try to make him smile, he doesn't seem to want to. It's like he hates me... And I-"
"Falsehood." I say before thinking. After realizing what I'd said, I covered my mouth to shut myself up. I also noticed that Patton was staring at me.

-Patton's POV-

Logan just said 'Falsehood' like he knew I was talking about him. Oh no, did he figure it out?

"L-logan? How can you know it's not true if you don't know who I'm talking about?" Oh no, he's going to hate me. It's all over.

"Patton, do you.... Do you like me?"

-Logan's POV-

Patton has started crying. Have I said something wrong? Why is he crying? Before he could answer my previous question, I do something rather impulsive. Before I know it, I'm kissing him. Not roughly, just a nice, gentle kiss.

-Patton's POV-

Before I could answer the question Logan asked me, I feel his lips on mine. Oh my gosh, he's kissing me. It took me a second, but I shortly after kissed back. Does this mean he likes me too?

We pull apart, and I ask him two questions. "Logan, do you like me?"

"Yes, Patton, your feelings are reciprocated." He responds. That made me smile before I asked, "Then, will you b-be my boyfriend?" Oh, jeez, I've got butterflies.

"Yes, I suppose we can begin a relationship together. I think that will be quite enjoyable."

And that's how me and Logan started dating.
