Baby Patton Pt. 5 (Royality)

It's honestly more like "Growing Patton" now, but whatever.

Also, I'm not sure if you guys are getting bored of this, so I'll try to make this the last part.

-Third Person POV-

2 days have passed since the movie marathon, and Patton was about the size of an 18 year old. He was hanging out with Roman in the kitchen.

"You know, it's kind of funny." he says. Patton looks at him and asks, "What is?"
"Well, it's a weird thing... Watching your boyfriend grow up like he's your child..." Roman tries to explain. Patton hops off the counter he was sitting on and walked in front of Roman.

"Well..." He starts saying. He grabs Roman's hands and continues, "When I get back to being 29, Roman...."

-Patton's POV-

I've been wanting to propose to Roman for a little while now, but  this whole potion thing kinda delayed it. It gave me time to think about it, though.
Sure, people usually don't ask to marry one another after a week, but me and Roman had been flirting with each other for over a year now.

So I try to continue my sentence. "What I'm trying to say is, would you be willing to be my Prince Charming?"
He catches on pretty quickly.

"Patton... Are you... Are you proposing to me?" he asks. My face feels hot when I answered, "A pitiful attempt at doing so, but yeah." I answered.

-Roman's POV-

I was trying to figure out what Patton was trying to say to me, then I finally figured it out. Patton was asking me to marry him indirectly.

"Patton, I'm not sure how you even thought that was a question; of course I will!" I say as I kiss his hand. He hugs me and says, "Once I grow back, you need to kiss me properly." I laugh and say, "Agreed."

Me and Patton decide to go to the movies together. We watched the new movie 'The Incredibles 2', and I liked it.

After the movie was over, we head home and Patton goes to his room to change. When he comes back, he is not a teenager anymore. He's probably like, 21. That means 1 more day and he should be back to normal. I walk up to him when I see him. I figure it won't be weird now.

I grab him and I pull him closer to me. "I think this is long overdue." I say. He smiles and I kiss him.
We only pull away when Virgil walks into the room.

"...Guys, don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you and all, but please do that in privacy..." he says. Me and Patton just laugh and go to eat dinner.

Patton was already in his cat onsie (Which was still a little big on him, but not much) when we all got into our pjs.

I was in my room just reading fairy tales when Patton decided to let himself in.
"Well, hello, my dear. What, did you miss me?" I say in a teasing way. He giggles and walks over to me. He plops down on my bed behind me and clings onto me.

-Patton's POV-

I missed having Roman beside me at night, so I went to his room and went in. I didn't bother knocking because I don't need to. I go behind him and wrap my arms around him.

"So what if I did?" I say. He puts his book down and grabs my hands. "I never said it was a bad thing..." he says while chucking.

I did this to him even before we were dating. Roman lifts my arms for a second while he turns to face me.

"So. You're basically back to normal. I mean, only about one more day." He says. I nod and I say, "I honestly couldn't be happier. I mean, I finally get to do this..." I lean over and kiss him. I feel him smile slightly into it and I pull away for a moment to say, "...without it being weird." and then kiss him again.

When we pull away the second time, Roman says, "Oh, and I got something..." he gives me a silver ring with Blue Moonstone in the center. He smiles as he takes my hand and puts the ring on my finger.

"Ack no fair! I was supposed to give you yours first!" I say teasingly. He laughs and says, "Wait, you've had one for me?" I nod and say, "Remember when I went to the store by myself a couple days ago?" he nods.

"Okay, gimme just a sec..." I say before running to grab it from my room. I got him a golden ring with Hessonite in the middle.
I run back to his room and show him. He seems to like it, as his eyes light up.

I put it on his finger and he stares at it. "Thank you, Patton, it's gorgeous!"

We fall asleep together and when we wake up, we look at each other. After a short 'good morning' kiss, I say, "So, are we going to tell everyone?"

Roman nods. "I don't want to hide this." He says while smiling.

We go downstairs and find almost everyone in the kitchen.
"Where's Remy and Virgil?" Roman asks. Picani answers me first. "In their rooms. Would you like me to call them?" I nod.

He calls them and they both appear in a tired way. "Whaaaaaat?" they say in unison. "Can everyone sit down, please?" Roman says.

-Thomas's POV-

Patton and Roman had come downstairs and asked everyone to sit down. They certainly had my attention.

Patton starts off saying, "Now, you all know how long we've liked each other..." We all nod. They've been flirting for almost a year and a half.

"And you know we've been dating for about 2 weeks now, right?" Patton asks. "Correct." Logan answered.

Roman got impatient. "Well, Patton kinda proposed to me and we have rings now!" he says while holding up both of their hands.

"Awwww that's adorable! I'm happy for you guys!" I say. Picani smirks like he expected this, Logan looked mildly surprised, Virgil smiled ever so slightly, Remy was smiling, and Deceit just kinda... Stared.

The rest of the day was great. We hung out with my friends, made a mess cooking, and a while bunch if fun things. Just before we all went to bed, Roman and Patton kissed each other in front of everyone by request of Remy.
