Angelic Vampires Pregnancy Theory

Edward's POV

I couldn't get the fact out of my mind that there was a possibility Bella could possibly get pregnant, right now we were heading home to speak with Carlisle. We had left Bella's mom's house a few days after I told Bella what Carlisle had discover, she was surprised by the news too. She told me, "I still can't believe that's even possible, I'm a vampire." I replied, "You're not any ordinary vampire, Bells. You're the most deadly one, your powers are lethal." Bella said, "I know, but a vampires body isn't suppose to change, besides our skin is hard as rock." I told her, "We'll just have to wait, Carlisle will explain the whole thing to us." She sighed and said, "Okay, we'll wait and see what Carlisle will tell us about the whole thing would even be possible."

I thought to myself as I stared straight at the road ahead of us, 'I wonder if Bella could already be pregnant right now.' She turned to look at me and said, "I think I would know if I was pregnant, Edward." I winced and kept my eyes on the road, I didn't know Bella had been listening to my thoughts. I pushed the accelerator down to the floor because I wanted to get us home a little faster, I just couldn't stand the awkward silence between us. She looked at me after ten minutes had passed by and said, "I'm not mad at you, Edward." I let out a sigh of relief and she laughed at me, I think Bella had been messing with me the whole time.

Bella's POV

It was so easy to fool Edward because he couldn't read my mind, since he couldn't get into my head he wouldn't know I was messing with him. I never got to tell my mother absolutely everything I know about vampires, but I guess she didn't need to know everything. Edward asked, "What are you thinking about?" I replied with a smirk, " Wouldn't you like to know." He rolled his eyes and sighed in irritation, he didn't like my response at all. I asked with a simper plastered on my face, "Do you really want to know what I'm think about?" He said, "It would be nice to know what you're thinking once in a while." I placed my hand on his leg and rubbed it suggestively, before saying, "I'm thinking about how much I'm going to enjoy our honeymoon. We won't be able to keep our hands off of each other."

He laughed lightly and said, "I know your lying to me, Bella, just please tell me the truth now." I sighed and said, "I was just thinking I didn't tell my mother everything about vampires." He stated, "Your mother doesn't need to know every single thing about vampires, Bella." I replied, "I know, I thought that too." Then I asked, "How about much longer is it going to take? I hate being cooped up for so long." He said, "Just a few more minutes, please try to be patient." I asked him, "Is that an order?" He laughed and said, "You better watch out, Bella, I might just come after you." I rolled my eyes at him and said, "Oh, I'm so scared." I turned and looked out the window, I just watched the woods as we zoomed by.

Suddenly I felt Edward's hand on my leg and he purred out, "I will come after you and you're going to like it." I laughed at him and said, "Don't you remember Alice said no more s*x until we are married." He sighed and said, "Well, that night will be a night to remember." I asked him, "Are you going to give it to me all night long?" He responded, "We'll do it as long as you want." I informed him, "I probably won't want to stop until I'm dying of thirst." He asked, "Am I really that good?" I just laughed and said, "Of course you are. Why do think I have a hard time keeping my hands off of you?" He said, "I had no idea, you were my first and will be my only." I asked confused, "You were a virgin?" He answered, Yes, you took my virtue." I told him with a small smile, "Your virtue will forever be mine." He just smiled at me and said, "Just like you're virtue will be mine forever too." We just smiled at each other, we enjoyed the rest of the ride to his home.

A minute later we pulled up in front of the house and Edward came to a stop thirty feet away, we headed inside and went straight to Carlisle's study. I looked over at Edward to see he was nervous, but I stayed out of his mind this time. I wondered if he was concerned that it could possibly kill me to have his child, he didn't know that if it were possible I wanted to have his baby. I took an unneeded breath and ignored Edward as he gave me a strange look, he probably was wondering if I was nervous too. He knocked on Carlisle's door and waited for him to call us in, when I heard him say, "Come in," I took another unneeded breath and thought, 'Here goes nothing.'

Carlisle's POV

Suddenly there was a knock on the door and I immediately said, "Come in," I knew it was Bella and Edward. They came in an took a seat in front of my desk, they wanted to know what I found out about angelic vampires or more importantly how or why their able to get pregnant. Edward said, "Will please tell us, were dying to know." I smirked when Bella muttered, "Look whose impatient now." Edward just ignore her comment and waited for me to speak, but I really didn't have much to tell them about it. I hadn't actually found that much information, It was more like a theory and I didn't actually know if they could possibly have a child.

I began saying, "Well, it actually just more like a theory, there has only been a few reports of this happening. I don't even know if angelic vampires can actually get pregnant, I don't know if the reports are true or not." Bella asked, "Well, what have you heard about the pregnancy." I told them, "The pregnancy won't last no longer than two months, the baby will grow fast inside the womb. The angelic vampire will crave human food and need some sleep like a human, you would crave animal blood too." Then I said, "I heard an angelic vampire can only get pregnant once, they become barren after the first time. That's all the information I have."

Bella's POV

Carlisle said it was just a theory, but it didn't mean Edward and I couldn't try. It didn't sound like it was dangerous for me to get pregnant, so I don't think that would keep Edward from trying to have a baby with me. I wondered if Edward even wanted to have a child, I already knew I wanted to. I looked over at Edward because he tapped me on the shoulder, I asked, "What do you want, Edward?" He told me, "I would like to ask you something, Bella." I said, "Well, ask me then." He got down on his knees in front of me and took my hands in his, then he asked, "Do you want to try to have a baby with me, Bells?"

I looked down at Edward in complete and utter shock, he just asked the same question I wanted to ask him. I had a hard time trying to get myself to speak, but no words would come out of my mouth. He looked away in disappointment and stood up again, I immediately stood up and grabbed his arm to keep him from leaving. I finally was able to get myself to speak and said, "I was going to ask you the same thing, I would love to try to have a baby with you."  I rolled my eyes when Alice yelled, "No making a baby until the two of you are married!" I looked into Edward eyes as he smiled down at me and a smile spread across my face, then he kissed me more passionately than he has ever done before and I just couldn't have been any happier at this moment.
